The project location is complex and paradoxical since it resumes many conditions developed in Lima in the last years; the co-existence between the rich and poor who live divided only by the top of a hill. On one side, the average plot size is about 3000 sq2, many with large gardens and swimming pools. On the other side, the average plot size is about 160 sq2, and does not contain any vegetation or water supply. The borders between these two areas have been reinforced with a fence wall. This does not allow people crossing unless they work in the other area. Pamplona is an informal area whose residents work in the neighboring wealthy area, Las Casuarinas. These people work as low income workers such as gardeners, cleaning personnel or domestic staff. The urban project aims to answer the following question: Is it possible a truly harmonic co-existence between these different populations? Five scenarios are proposed in order to find answers to this key topic.
