PROJECT JUSTIFICATION
This practical outcome is aimed at providing the user with a contemporary understanding of some of the text language that exists today, in relation to Communication Technology. Furthermore, it is an attempt to give users (most suited to older generations, unfamiliar with such prose) an understanding of both the language that exists, and its correct application. Being that digital forms of language exist mainly within digital platforms, and because of the lack of effect Communication Technology has had on printed language, this book offers an exploration of digital language through more traditional, hand-rendered methods. The hand-rendered production has been applied through all aspects of this book and aims to illustrate both, the importance of the hand in typographic/book production, and the contrast between digital communication and more classical forms.
