STUDIO BRIEF 1.
JOSEPH HARRISON.
RESEARCH. An Introduction to Bouldering.
Me: what lead you to an interest in bouldering in particular? Chris: I started outdoor climbing and was introduced to a number of prolific crags (smaller features used for outdoor bouldering) and got really into the low problem climbs and from there just got more and more into the practice. Research into bouldering and the techniques and equipment involved provided an understanding of the sport. First hand viewing of climbers in practice, along with focussed questionnaires, further informed the comprehension. A combination of verbal, written, and visual exposure to the sport fed the interest.
