Joseph Benoit

President Joseph Benoit came to Mount Marty College from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D. where he served as Dean of the Graduate School and Professor for the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Therapeutics since 2001. Prior to his work in North Dakota, he served as Director of Graduate Studies and professor at the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine, Mobile, Alabama. He has over 25 years of experience in higher education ranging from faculty to senior level administration. President Benoit holds a Ph.D. and undergraduate degree in Basic Medical Sciences at the University of South Alabama, and a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry at the University of Southwestern Louisiana.
