Joseph Dana

Joseph Dana is Monocle's Eastern Mediterranean correspondent. Covering regional events from Istanbul, Dana's work spans a diverse number of disciplines and where they collide. Dana's radio work for Monocle 24 from the West Bank and reporting for The National was short listed for the 2012 Anna Lindh Foundation Mediterranean Journalism Award. Dana is a freelance features writer at The National (UAE). Dana was The Nation's special correspondent on the 2011 Gaza Flotilla in Athens. His print work has appeared in Le Monde Diplomatique (German, English), GQ (Germany), Salon, London Review of Books, Tablet, Los Angeles Review of Books, and The Mail & Guardian among other international publications.
