CORPORATE ID REDESIGN & REBRANDING
Taman Margasatwa Ragunan It was time to revamp the visual appearance and image of one of the most comprehensive zoological parks in Asia, whose local image is merely an ordinary zoo. Therefore everything from logo, tickets, signs, uniform to merchandise had to be created within a system to build a strong, appealing and memorable image that it deserves from the internal management itself and the visitors from around the world.

LOGO DESIGN
Logo Collection I have had the chance to make some logos that are used by groups. committees or small businesses. This is just a quick resume of the logos I’ve created by myself, each of them accompanied by a small description about the logo’s background, development and use. I haven’t included many photos or screenshots of its application, but by request, I can deliver some documents, of course.
This is my first logo that I’ve made for my group because our class was split into “design studios“ and we had to simulate a pitching for a project (Laskar Pelangi Movie Premiere). Besides the logo, I’ve made a set of stationery, including letterheads, cd cover and sticker, business cards, and stickers which could be written on, to identify a project.
I made this logo for the class pitching for the SEA Games Eco Village Campaign Project. A basic Graphic Standard Manual and 10 different merchandise items were created based on this logo. After winning the pitch, we proceeded to the real project for the SEA Games Eco Village Campaign , and this logo was modified in approval of the whole team.

The owners of Daisy Collection, an online shop that operates through Facebook, decided to improve the shop. Having a sweet, memorable logo seemed to be an important step to differ their shop from the many other online shops.
Tante TinĂŠ is a newly established catering service based in Tangerang that delivers affordable indonesian snack and lunch boxes. They dreamed of a a fresh, nice, traditional but modern housewife-ish image.
So I helped them build a small identity package, including this logo, 2 profile pictures and some versions of the logo to be used as watermarks or stamps.
After short briefings I handled them some alternatives that could all be used directly as stickers on top of plain meal boxes. They really loved this one, so they used it right away for their next order!

EDITORIAL DESIGN
Mosaic Magazine I’m a fan of challenges and extraordinary things. That’s why I chose to make a design & art education magazine for high school students, and not a fashion magazine. Not that I underestimate the simplistic approach in such magazines, but in my point of view, keeping a relatively young audience attracted to substantial content is a nice challenge.

EDITORIAL & TYPOGRAPHY
Maluku Guide Book This is a handy guide for international travelers who are going to visit Maluku. Its size and layout are carefully selected to allow comfortable reading and gripping. Furthermore it easily fits in a pocket and has a colour index to find chapters within a second. Longer text is split up to small bits to avoid the eyes and mind get a fatigue. It’s perfect for amateur travelers who look for adventure and fun.

EDITORIAL REDESIGN
As Long as I Have Music As Long as I Have Music was a magnificent concert in Lippo Karawaci, but its booklet -black & white and bare- was probably created with a word processing software. In a group of 3, we decided to create a dreamy feel, more suitable to carry the audience to the mesmerizing world of classical music.
18
TYPOGRAPHY EXPLORATION
Office Calender On this calender set I’ve explored the possibilities of 3D rendering mixed with the many options of the perspective tool offered in Adobe Illustrator CS5. The final touch was done in Adobe Photoshop CS5 then printed on gold dust Jasmine fancy paper to enhance the appearance. These are my personal favourites

FONT DESIGN
Allure We’ve seen it all, the font introduced by the Visit Indonesia Logo. Its organic look has its roots in the traditional symbols used by our indonesian ancestors. It is now widely used in many occasions for logos and taglines. How could a text type look that has a contemporary indonesian flair?

ADVERTISING
Laskar Pelangi Premiere This project was our first “simulation project“, so I call it. The class was split in tiny ‘design firms‘ to pitch for the launching of the movie Laskar Pelangi. We delivered a package of movie poster, popcorn bucket, premiere VIP tickets, bookmarks and trailer story board. On the pitching day, we decorated enthusiastically the biggest and most elaborated display in class and finally won the pitch! Everybody especially liked the real looking chalk illustrations & overall feel it creates. Wohoo! Too bad I hadn’t a camera, yet.

ADVERTISING
Tini Wini Biti We worked in a group of four to analize why Tini Wini Biti Snack that is losing its popularity and we tried to make a campaign with the target to curb its sales and image. Therefore we made a series of advertisings, such as a poster, TV commercial, wobbler and jingle. We emphasize a fun experience and diversity in taste and shape to persuade children. We used fun stop motion techniques. 3 mascots gather in a cute circus environment, accompanied by real Tini Wini Biti biscuits characters they share a wonderful adventure in Tini Wini Biti Land.
Jingle Lyrics for Tini Wini Bity Jingle (30s) Tini Wini Biti ada banyak rasanya Asin, Manis, Sate, Pizza, Jagung dan Bawang Bahannya bermutu, dapat menceriakan hari-harimu Tini Wini Biti imut-imut bentuknya Kupu-kupu, Gajah, Ikan, Bebek dan Kura Anak-anak, gimana pendapat kalian? Tini Wini Biti Imut, Enak, Bergizi!

PACKAGING DESIGN
A Collection of Packaging Designs These are some redesigns for packagings and some totally new ones, collected from various projects of independent subjects in different semesters.
26
27
PHOTOGRAPHY
Flames & Sparks This is a 12 pages catalogue for a limited edition dance costume. Making a catalogue for one product seemed to be boring, but it turned out to be very interesting and it gave me a lot of space to experiment and explore.
28
SIGNAGE DESIGN
Public Signage Designs The first signage system below was meant for the first two terminals of the international Bandara Soekarno-Hatta because the ones that are in use now are already outdated and do not contribute to a positive image of the airport. These new ones use contrasting but tradisional colors and a font that is readable from a far distance. For the second signage, we redesigned the signage system in Supermal Karawaci, because it has way too many different signs that are not supporting the image the mal wants to build. Based on the logo in 2011, we created some suitable signs. This sign is made of acrylic plates and some parts are covered with light grey brushed aluminium.
29
3D ILLUSTRATION
Dongeng Jaka Tarub dan 7 Bidadari This indonesian folklore tells the story of the divine origin of the founder of Mataram Kingdom. In this 3D illustration, we can see the highlight of story from 3 different point of views: From Jaka Tarub who hid behind a bush, from the angels who leave the earth, and from Nawangwulan who cannot join the other angels because her scarf was taken by Jaka Tarub.

INFOGRAPHICS DESIGN
Sour Sally Marketing Mix Infographics I LOVE clever and beautiful infographics. They fascinate and inspire me. This is one of my first attempts in making one, in a group which I led. Here is the layout and parts I created.
31
SELF PROMOTION
Curriculum Vitae This was a small project where I tried to make a CV more appealing and creative. Though made of two carton boards, it has the size and ratio of common digital screens in pixel because its concept is a printed blogsite. Therefore one has to pull and retract tabs to open and close a part of the whole CV. It was challenging and fun to make all the tabs work properly, but it was definitely worth it.

MAP DESIGN
MAP 700 Gading Serpong & Surroundings During my first summer holiday I decided to go on an independent internship. I’m grateful to the company which took me in, because I was entrusted to take a really big part in their project: the whole map interface! This is a thematic map of Gading Serpong and its surroundings filled with useful information about where to dine, shop and so on. The most intriguing part of the job is to fit all of the rukos onto the map nicely. On the back side of the map are advertisements from local shops and service providers.
