One of the new generation of pros progressing the art of skateboarding to new levels, Bryan Herman’s pure style, be it on his board or off, sets him apart from the herd. It seemed inevitable that this tumbleweed, blown in from the high California desert, would be handpicked by Andrew Reynolds to bring his unique eye to Altamont’s creative team. Bryan’s modest upbringing and passion for skateboarding are at the root of his design influence for Altamont. For Bryan, ease and function are requisite for the good times to follow.

Hailing from the rough-and-tumble streets of Irvine, California, Justin Figueroa was forced to finely tune his survival instincts at a very early age. It should come as no surprise, then, that this white-hot up-and-comer’s longevity in the cut-throat world of skateboarding is 100% assured. Figgy’s his name, skating’s his game!
Along with fellow Altamont contributor Theotis Beasley, Kenny Hoyle grabs a great big slice of positivity from the skateboarding pizza. Kenny calls Carlsbad, California home, where constant sunshine and a solid family upbringing nurtured this natural skateboarding wizard with a friendly demeanor. Although Kenny’s not much of a hater, don’t ask about his missing finger, or he’ll give you the middle one.
With youth on his side, it’s ironic that Inglewood, California’s Theotis Beasley pilots his skateboard like there’s no tomorrow. No doubt about it, this young upstart is comin’ up! Always smiling, Theotis brings a positive vitality to the breakfast table. Sunny side up!
Arguably the biggest influencer in modern street skateboarding today, Andrew Reynolds’ skateboard has taken him to the city streets of his hometown, Los Angeles, and across the globe. Those streets and the people he has come across as a professional street skater have left their mark on him. This influence can be seen in his creative vision as the owner of Baker Skateboards and now as the Head Designer for Altamont Apparel. Patrick O’Dell is a Los Angeles based photographer. Professionally, Patrick has traveled the world as a senior staff photographer for Thrasher and photo editor for Vice Magazine in New York. He currently is the staff photographer and videographer for Altamont Apparel. O’Dell shoots skaters skating, hangers hanging, and up-too-late, out-too-often night dwellers doing what comes naturally. Somehow amid all the black eyes, crowded dance floors, beat-up hotel rooms, and beautiful famous ladies, O’Dell manages to keep the scene honest. This candid intimacy with his subject matter combined with his poetic eye for finding beauty in even the grimiest of scenes give Patrick’s work a natural style that is truly his own.
