Joseph Turner was founded by Yorkshire born Christopher Legard in 1997, a self-diagnosed shirt fanatic with a keen eye for quality, who being deeply frustrated at the lack of premium quality men’s shirts available on the high street decided to start his own company providing just that. Starting out in Thirsk, a small market town in Yorkshire Joseph Turner was established with the aim of providing quality classic shirts to the discerning gentleman. Fifteen years later, they have expanded to provide every garment the stylish gentleman would ever need in their wardrobe. Over the years Joseph Turner have retained their sense of tradition and quality and are still based in the same Yorkshire market town.
