Frankie was born in Milan in 1985. He left home at 16 and moved to the UK mainly to pursue his fascination with rave culture. He started snapping at a young age and he is deeply addicted to it. Nazardo is interested in the expression of human emotions in artificial environments such as contemporary society. He started shooting fashion when he understood that in a cynical and fucked up world the way we dress can be one of the few ways in which we can express something. His work has been featured on a variety of publications such as Loud and Quiet, Dazed and Confused and soon in The New Tough. His work is currently featured in the Art Barter exhibition in London. For this Issue he shot a dark and funny story in London for us, titled “Creatures of the Night”

Born in 1982 Philippe lives and works in Amsterdam. After one year of studying photography at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague he wanted to develop his own photographic aesthetic and intensity particularly in fashion, portraits and art. He’s increasingly drawn to projects dealing with social issues and telling stories. His forthcoming editorial in I Love Fake includes a fashion shoot against the backdrop of big city isolation. Philippe recently got a grant from the Amsterdam’s Fonds voor de Kunst (AFK) for a project to photograph window-prostitutes. He has also been shooting for platforms like Wallpaper, Glamour, MykroMag and Geil Magazine.

Roberta is a photographer from Italy. She grew up in Rome and has lived in London since 1999. She loves taking photos of people that she admires in a personal and spontaneous way, often following them in their own environment. She loves nature, dogs and starting new adventures. Roberta’s been working for magazine like NYLON, Babybabybaby, SPIN, VICE and brands like Urban Outfitters. For this issue she photographed Celia, a very special girl she met while in New York and was lucky enough to have a glimpse into her unusual world.

Alexandra Carr was born in Toronto and lives in Hoboken, NJ. She has contributed to publications, such as: A4, Nylon, Celeste and Squint. In addition to her fashion work, she has spent the past year working on a book project with actress, Paz de la Huerta. We have featured Alexandra Carr’s work before in our magazine and for this issue we asked her to shoot an exclusive story for us. For this issue she shot a beautiful story with Matvey in New York titled “A brief history of love”.

NICLAS HEIKKINEN Photographer, London Niclas is a Swedish born photographer living and working in London. He is inspired by Scifi, David Lynch and the gritty streets of Hackney and Lower East Side. Niclas likes to challenge the conventional idea of beauty and loves working with models who look as if they were a piece of cubist artwork. His work has been published in mags such as Dazed Japan, Indie and Pàp Magazine, he’s also one of the founding members of art and fashion online magazine Underlining Colours.

JULIE PIKE Photographer, Norway Born in 1975 in Scotland, and raised in Denmark, Julie Pike followed her education at the Academy of Art College in San Fransisco. Julie is currently living in Oslo where she works as a freelance photographer with a strong emphasis on fashion. She has worked for magazines such as VICE, Bon, Elle, Nylon, Oyster, S publication and Mirage Magazine and has had exhibitions in Oslo, New york and recently showed her work at the Vice Fashion Photo Expo in Amsterdam.

JACOPO MOSCHIN Photographer, Milano Living between London and Milan, young fashion photographer Jacopo J Moschin, likes to shoot film more than digital and has a love for beauty, youth and simplicity. In his pictures he is constantly looking for the timeless feeling. Currently working on his first solo show that will present his portraits of young East Londoners, he’s also involved in art direction and directing. He has a deep interest in contemporary art and interior design, as well as rock music, and among his passions are surfing and boxing. His favourite color is black. If you can’t find him shooting young beauties he is most likely to be driving his car heading somewhere he has never been before.

HENRIK PURIENNE Publisher / Photographer, Capetown Henrik Purienne grew up in a small dusty town in Africa where both cameras and girls were pretty much of limits to a curious teen. Spending his days rumbling through his father’s Psychologist library didn’t help much either. An autuer FilmMaker and Photographer based between the beaches of South African and European summers, he is always armed and ready for action. Purienne is also founder and co-editor or retro-informed international fashion magazine, Mirage.

FABIEN KRUSZELNICKI Photographer, London Napoleon has been obsessed with women since he was a kid but his former girlfriends (before he married his stylist, Paola Viloria) were very jealous, that´s why he could only make landscape pictures. His work as fashion photographer has been published, among many others, in Self Service, Nylon, i-D and Baby Baby Baby magazines, where he also currently works as Photography Editor. He also creates advertising campaigns for brands like American Apparel.

Today, he´s preparing for his next solo show, which is going to take place within a couple of months in Mexico City, where by the way, he was wandering with a beautiful “güerita” around different houses, hotels and taco stands (and you´ll be able to see this beautiful güerita within this issue).
