Accidential Publisher ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION WE HAVE AN APP FOR THAT By: Michael T. “Josh” Fuller Good Gosh! Call Josh 1-855-320-7467 I Read on Facebook recently that somebody is creating an app that will help people trying to come to our country illegally. Somebody has been smoking their Tide Pods. I mean, this opens up a whole new line for discussion. I get that USA is the land of milk and honey. I understand and sympathize with those looking for a hand up and not a hand out, however, here are a few things to consider. First of all, how about making your own country great? Improve conditions where you live. Another thing to consider, If it’s an app what’s to keep border patrol units from monitoring the app? It would make their job a lot easier. I don’t know if you understand how expensive it can be to become a citizen of the good old USA, but maybe that is part of the problem. I mean, I get it that somebody has to pay for it , but $3,000 for a immigration attorney is just absurd, or at the very least highway robbery. Another problem financially speaking is how much it costs to hire a coyote to spirit somebody into this country. Like I’ve always said, follow the money trail. Let’s take another step back and think about one thing I’ve already covered. Making one’s own country great again. You think corrupti0on is bad in this country? Try to make a difference in any other country and you’ll soon find out what real corruption is like real quick. Remember, in other countries your guilty until proven
innocent, not innocent until proven guilty. There have been plenty of people who wanted to make a change to a democratic type of government, only to never be heard from agin. Heck, of you don’t go along to get along in Cuba, they still take you to the sugar cain fields and you may, or may not be heard from again for eternity. How’s that for your “civil rights”, being violated? CNN is touting no less than five apps, apps that help people stay here even if they aren’t here leagilly. That’s not to say there aren’t some good apps for this problem. For example, The Mobile Passport app authorized by the US Government speeds you through U.S. Customs and Border Protection a lot quicker than you might imagine. It can be used at one cruise port and twenty four airports. This app is also being made available in conjuction with Airport Council International. find this app at https:// mobilepassport.us. There’s even a new smart-
phone app named A new app warns undocumented Americans (or people who are rightfully worried they might be accused of being one) about anti-immigrant raids so they can flee before the immigration forces come for them. Called RedadAlertas, or Raid Alerts, the app uses verified, crowdsourced data to sound the alarm. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you want to come to the US and be part of the solution and not part of the problem, more power to you. Come on in brothers ad sisters, you’ll get nothing but respect from me. However, don’t come here just to get on the gravy train and not contribute, we don’t like that in the good old USA! The United States has been the top destination for international migrants since at least 1960, with one-fifth of the world’s migrants living there as of 2017. Despite its long history of immigration, the United States has oscillated between perceiving immigration as a valuable resource and as a major challenge. The 2016 election and significant actions on

Even more than before, immigration is closely tied to discussions about the U.S. economy and global competitiveness, national security, and the country’s role in humanitarian protection at a time of record global displacement. DAVE SAYS Debt And Income Crisis Dear Dave, I received a call the other day from a company saying it could negotiate the balance on my credit cards to a lesser amount. The caller also said they could get me a zero-percent interest rate until the debts were paid off, and then the accounts would be closed. I’m kind of starting over again financially, because I sold a company I had run for almost 15 years, then got into real estate and
lost almost everything. I’m making just enough to squeeze by, and my credit card debt totals $40,000. Would this be a good idea? Bill Dear Bill, No, this is not a good idea. You’re looking at two major problems with a company such as this one. One, they will absolutely destroy whatever credit you may have. Their plan is to take your cash, and spend some
time beating down the credit card companies until they agree to accept a lesser amount. Then, they use your cash to settle loans you will have — by that time —defaulted on. This will put you in a situation very similar to if you had filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Stay away from these people. You have an income crisis, in addition to a debt crisis, at this point. For starters, I want you to start living on a tight, written, monthly budget. I’m talking rice and beans, no vacations, and no eating out until you pay off this debt. Where your income is concerned, maybe you should consider getting back into the kind of business you ran previ-

Finally, cut up the credit cards, close the accounts, and put as much money as you can spare toward paying off that debt using the debt snowball system. Never go back into debt again! —Dave
Pay Off House First
Dear Dave, My husband and I are in our forties. We have no children, and we bring home $95,000 a year combined. We’re also debt-free except for our home. We owe just $10,000 on the house, and can take care of that in a few months. Would it be okay to rearrange the Baby Steps a bit, and pay off our home before getting serious about saving for retirement? Nan Dear Nan, I don’t usually give folks any wiggle room when it comes to sticking with the proper order of the Baby Steps. But if you’re that close to being completely debt-

free, I don’t see anything wrong with paying off the house first. Most people I talk to still have anywhere from $100,000 to $300,000 left on their mortgages. This is a little bit different story, however, and you two are obviously managing your money well. Knock out that mortgage, and start pouring at least 15 percent of your income into retirement. You’re going to love the feeling — and the freedom — that comes with being completely debtfree! —Dave * Dave Ramsey is CEO of Ramsey Solutions. SAFETY ON THE ROAD
(NAPSI)—A few simple steps protect your family and loved ones. You may be driving a vehicle with a defective driver’s side air bag, passenger’s side air bag or both. If you have one of the following vehicles, please call your local Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge or Ram dealership to schedule a FREE repair: The Problem Here’s why: According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 34 million vehicles have defective air bags, which can cause serious injury or death in the event of a crash. Even a minor fender bender can cause these air bags to explode, spraying metal fragments into drivers and passengers. A Solution Fortunately, there is a solution, repairs are FREE and Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram dealerships have plenty of new air bags available to replace them. You don’t even have to take the vehicle back to the same dealership from which you bought it; any authorized dealer can make the free repairs. Learn More For further facts, or if you are not sure whether your vehicle is part of this, you can: 1. Go to recalls.mopar.com
and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), found on the driver’s side dashboard near the windshield or the inside driver’s side door. 2. Get in touch with your Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram dealership.
3. Call the dedicated tollfree number: (866) 2206765. Se habla espanol.
