oil mill Oil Seed Mill Flax seed is a by-product of flax fibers obtained at harvest and oil mill in bags or baskets. If the fetus was too wet, so it could be moldy during storage, it was probably spread on the floor of the attic and dried for several days. Before crushing, the seeds were both fine and coarse debris cleaned to get rid of. Screening machine in the mill grain was used for this purpose. However, ventilation equipment probably also used to clean flaxseed. The next step was to flaxseed in four stamps mortar crush on the south side of the mill. Crushing seeds and oil dispensing strong support during subsequent pressing. Punch-mortar was distraught broad base protocol and iron plate was installed at its base. Four of these matrices were placed together and grew up in the rotary cam shaft and then released to fall into the mortar shells. When filling or emptying mortar the operator picked up the punching action from pole rope handle and a hook mechanism. Flaxseed has been carefully down on fatty food in the mortar and then transferred to a baking dish. The third step was to fry meal from flax seeds. Short heating before pressing oil yields rose further breakage of cells containing oil seed. Sometimes roasting is omitted, however, a lower yield lighter, better "cold pressed" oil was produced. Constant mechanical stirring is always used to prevent sunburn semen with subsequent loss of oil. The final step in this process was pressed linseed oil from the crushed and roasted flax seed with the press. This report was excavated large wooden beam 27 cm square rectangular trough in the middle. Bags of seed mats were wrapped in leather backed hair and then placed between the heated iron plates at each end of the channel. The remaining space between them was filled with two wooden wedges and a number of struts. One of the keys has been drawn down, so that its upper side is expressed stroke lateral pressure to oil. The second was inverted wedge, which issued press components, when it was hammered down. Heavy wooden stamp poles were placed over each wedge.
