R E D ES I G N : B C A Mobi l e 2019 Self practice BCA is one of the largest banks in Southeast Asia and as one of the first banks to carry the cardless concept, helping people who often forget to bring their cards. I feel the design of this application needs to be redeveloped. Since I was in high school (about 7 years ago) the design of this application has not changed much. Unlike the other mobile banking applications that have carried a minimalist design.

Design Thinking

In this practice, i use this double diamond design thinking until prototyping in deliver’s step.

Observing Existing Apps For me, I like the simplicity of the application. But, in my opinion I don’t like the design of the application. I think the application need some modern redesign and there are rooms for improvement. (Nikolas, Researcher, 22 y.o.)

It looks kind of old fashioned, like I am looking at 90s game. But I like the straightforwardness of how we can choose the features through the lists, it doesn’t make our eyes tired to search both horizontally and vertically. (Ardelia, Graduate student, 22 y.o.) 6

User Persona Millenials (College Students, Fresh graduates) • •

20 – 25 y.o. Transfer money more than 3 times a week. Top up electronic money more than 3 times a week.

Problem Statement • •

UI need to be updated especially home screen and login screen. New account registration process. Add new account number for transfer. We need to add user first, wait until BCA verification, and new account added. In my opinion, it takes long process and takes more time.

R E D ES I G N : Pe rpu s takaan ITB A pp 2019 Self practice ITB Library is one important element of the ITB environment. A lot of users. The ITB Library Application is a tool given by the manager in helping users find books. But not many users want to use this application. There are still many shortcomings seen in its use. This application needs to be evaluated both in function, usage, and fulfillment of user needs.

Problem

This app only can show book detail and book number. Not as i expect that this app can booking book or extend the borrowed books. Sometime this app crash too. Kristina, Architecture 2015

I hardly understand the interface of this app. Some of the feature are not working and useless. This app need improvement as soon as possible. Yahya, Architecture 2015

Solution Efficiently Some of the features from this app work individually and not integrated with the main purpose of the app. To reach the goal, sometime need much effort and the visual of the app also not that good. Visually Main problem why people don’t want use this app because the interface is bad. Boring interface and messy information. This app need refreshment New Features There is only one function of this app, searching book. People don’t want spent their storage for this app. Need improvement and integration between this app and other app. 18

User Persona

ITB Students Most of the user of this app is ITB Students from Undergraduate program until Doctoral program. Age between 18-40 years old. Activities, reading books, searching for information, and borrowing books.

ITB Lecturer and Researcher Lecturer and researcher from ITB can use this facilities as their privilage. This library has lots of information that they need. The special feature is you can search paper or thesis from outside university for free.

Student from other university Sometimes student from outside ITB come to searching book or DVD that in their university doesn’t have.

Booking system

Wishlist

The limited number of books that can be borrowed is one of the problems. Sometimes scrambling becomes inevitable. One solution that can be given is to make a booking system that can provide a space for each student to borrow it.

The limitations of search history make it difficult for users to find back books that they have found. This feature is similar to bookmarks, which give a sign to the books you want to book or borrow.

News

Notification

New Features Modern Interface Previous applications prioritize functions so that aesthetic values cannot emerge. The use of displays like this makes the application seem unfinished and is still in the experimental phase so that not many people are interested in using it. In line with the development of aesthetic elements, the redesign of this application can provide a new color in its use.

Each field has its own news and this news is not interconnected between fields. The result is that information does not spread evenly. Giving news section to help spread the news among students and lecturers of ITB.

Students sometimes forget to return books that are borrowed so that he gets a substantial fine. In order to reduce the negligence of these students, the notification feature is provided so that users can know when to return books. In addition, this notification can also provide information about the books you have ordered already available.

Progress and Sketch This project started with looking for what user think about this app. Is it working well or do they understand how to use it? And some of them said it is working fine but nothing can do except searching for book. So we look for what they want this app can do. After knowing the user needs and the existing conditions of the application, we combined the two ideas by redesigning the application workflow and added some new feature.

D IG I TAL S M A RT C A RE by Te l ko m s e l 2019 Self practice Digital Smart Care adalah sebuah aplikasi dashboard tunggal milik Telkomsel yang digunakan oleh operator Grapari dalam melayani kebutuhan pelanggannya. Dalam aplikasi ini dapat memantau dan mengontrol seluruh data pengguna yang terdaftar di database Telkomsel.

Problem •

Pengguna dashboard ini adalah operator yang bekerja di Grapari sesuai jam kerja yang cukup panjang. Operator akan selalu memperhatikan layar komputernya sepanjang shift kerjanya. Oleh sebab itu desain dashboard didesain nyaman dilihat mata dengan cara melengkungkan pojok-pojok card.

•

Operator perlu bertindak cepat melayani penggunanya. Pergerakan mouse operator menjadi pertimbangan juga supaya dapat dengan mudah mencapai fungsi-fungsi yang ada di dashboard. Oleh karena itu area-area yang dapat memberikan action diletakan berdekatan.

2016 position: Vice Leader, in charge of Graphic Design Division Facade is an architecture excurtion program for undergraduate architecture student in ITB. For this year, the destination was Lombok, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia, so the grand design was made to match with the destination theme. The logo was inspired by the pattern that used on traditional cloths, Batik Sasambo. The other decorative pattern was inspired by the pattern that also can be found on traditional Lombok house. The earthy color used to match with the scenery of Lombok island.

2016 position: in charge on grand design with Nabila Putri Fauzia Every graduation on Architecture Undergraduate program ITB, IMA-G (Architecture Student Organization ITB) makes an exhibition of final project graduates, named Epilogue. This is the design of Epilogue batch October 2016. The theme was low-poly design and dominated by geometrical shape. The illustration was made by low-poly design that looks like unfinished process.
