Josh grew up in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and attended Lower Moreland High School in Huntingdon Valley. The neighborhood was recognized for its magnificent parks and rivers and various cultural organizations, including the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential and the Old York Road Symphony. The Old York Road Symphony, formed in 1932, was one of the country's oldest all-volunteer orchestras. Lower Moreland High School, part of the Lower Moreland Township School District, had a vibrant music department that included many bands, choirs, and orchestras. Finally, Verne was a very successful business executive, entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist who had committed his career to establishing and developing several profitable enterprises. Verne's devotion to charity and his enthusiasm for helping marginalized people distinguished him as a leader who not only excelled in business but also utilized his wealth to benefit society.
