The road that goes down to the castle from the other side is very steep and winding, whereas that one that follows the river will be fine even if its really cold. Try the Facebook group for liftshares – http://www.facebook.com/events/427844090611437 Nearest station is – Haltwhistle. Then its a hours walk or a taxi from there. Arrive from 2pm on Friday and leave any-time before 4pm on Sunday, but make sure you leave some time to help clean up pleaseeeee.

We'll have a cost price bar with Real Ale, Cider and Cocktails and bring your own if you want. Food is all provided from dinner Friday till lunch Sunday – there will be a blackboard sign up for helping with meals / cleaning, if everyone could put themselves down when they arrive for a stint at some point in the weekend then that would be great! Midnight snacks (we will provide delicious nutritious food at regular mealtimes. If you wish to nosh outwidth these then bring some stuff ! pot noodle! Monster much! Eggs!)

Pr0gram So here we go! The Third Castle Party Program is shaping up to be as riotous as the last! Look over the mood boards and bring TOP NOTCH costumes (to be worn over your thermals of course!)
Friday YACHT ROCK / GLAM CRUISE Welcomingz and team-building QUIZ after dinner! Then we will be doing Strictly Come Dancing / Yacht Rock Karaoke / Yacht Rock Live Backing Band and Yacht Rock Late Night Casino in the upstairs room with Fruit Pistol DJs Whilst downstairs in the Dungeon Dance Room we will be playing some Sinking Sounds (steadily decreasing BPMs as we descend into the depths of the Ocean on our Glam cruise) all on the mighty Pad Thai Hifi Soundsystem! We are talking ... Shangaan / Footwork set (160-180 bpm) into Kuduro (140 -150 bpm) into Afrobeats (120 - 130ish bpm) into Cumbia / Dancehall / Moombah / Grindin' (100-110bpm) into Reggae Dub (90-95)

Saturday UNDER THE SEA This fancy dress theme is a competition and there will be prizes for ‘anatomically correct costumes’ judged by Nick Greenwood, the Marine Management Organisation Employee himself. Then at midday there will be a Big Walk followed by afternoon workshops in Afrobics with Josie (NOTE: BRING LEG WARMERS), Giant Cluedo with Elsie, How to Crochet with Rachel and How to Massage with Topaz (If you want to bring a workshop then please do - just tell sarah your idea and she will add it to the program sarah.ruby.lawson@gmail.com) and an afternoon performance by the Castle Orchestra (Created, Rehersed and Performed in the Castle itself!) Then we will have another load of amazing bands for you to enjoy after another big feast as well as DJ DJ RADJZ GOGDZ and DJ HARRY Playing sweet - Under the Sea - Beats in the Dungeon!
