The content was directly relevant to how blended learning can be promoted in our classroom. Through the use of Wikis, the participants had a first-hand experience of this tool. This made it even more interesting as we experienced the effect of this tool on the learning process and the work required to use such a tool for teaching purposes. With regards to the other module, PODCASTS, this was also very motivational and, again, we had a direct experience of what is required to develop a PODCAST and how such a tool can be quite interesting to be used in our classrooms. The lecturer prepared a wiki space for our class and this was very effective to directly relate the theories/literature that we covered into practical sessions.

With regards to the use of Fronter, as the standard VLE to be used in our educational system, more time could have been allocated to get acquainted with this system. However, it should be noticed that all teachers had a six weeks in-service course organized by the eLearning centre.
