JUDGES
JEFF KOCUR teaches journalism and AP Composition and advises the yearbook and newspaper at Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, MN. He has an M.A. in Journalism and Communications from Kent State University, and the publications he advises have won both state and national awards.
LIZ KEELING has been advising publications in Minnesota for over 15 years. She has advised newspapers, newsmagazines, literary magazines and yearbooks. Her advised publications have earned local, state and national recognition—including National Scholastic Press Association Pacemakers and Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold and Silver Crowns. Keeling has served on the board of directors at NSPA, been active on several Journalism Education Association committees, and is a member of the board of the Minnesota High School Press Association.
TYLER SHEPARD has been adviser for Wayzata High School’s Wayako yearbook for nine years. He is currently serving in a co-Adviser role as Dean of Students. The Wayako has earned the NSPA first-class award for seven consecutive years.
