MALALA Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, Pakistan

On October 9, 2012, a gunman shot Malala when she was traveling home from school. She survived, and has continued to speak out on the importance of education. She was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2013. In 2014, she was nominated again and won, becoming the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

She is famous for her timeless designs, trademark suits, and little black dresses. She launched her first perfume, Chanel Nº. 5, which was the first to feature a designer’s name.


Mother Teresa 26 August 1910 – 5 September 1997

Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation, which in 2012 consisted of over 4,500 sisters and is active in 133 countries. A controversial figure both during her life and after her death, Mother Teresa was widely admired by many for her charitable works.

She was a Polish and naturalized-French physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. Her achievements included a theory of radioactivity techniques for isolating radioactive isotopes, and the discovery of two elements, polonium and radium. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize
