My name is Su Jou Fang. I study in Visual Communication Design of National Taiwan University of Art. Speak to my fine art experience; I started my art training since I was junior high school student. Even though I chose to study in general high school, I never stop painting. However, I participated in national competitions actively and earned the champion at the cantonal competition.
My ambition is to study at the Department of Fine Arts initially. Accidentally, I was enrolled in the academy of design. To me,
design is the most familiar stranger. There are some common parts between fine art and design. They both demand the
sense of beauty but their purpose are definitely different. Fine art is the expression of painter’s feeling. However, design
is transmitting the message that customer want. Once I thought the only way to represent the beauty was on the canvas. Now I know there are several ways to show it. Everything around us has the connection with design.
Every freshman gets the same resource at college. The only way to stand head and shoulder above others is to learn more. Thus, I earned a chance to be an intern of Young Art Taipei at my first semester. I was an art assistant during the exhibition.
It’s a precious experience to design the products such as the advertisement. I learned how to communicate with people while they weren’t satisfied with my design. After the first year of my college life, I realize I need to have a wider view to
future. Instead of staying in Taiwan, I apply for the exchange student to Southern Utah University. Although my major was fine art then, I took lots of courses related to design. The education there was totally different to Asia. In Taiwan, we learn
different kind of subject in a week but the classes there were intensive. We took same class twice or triple a week. Though
I only had twelve degrees in a semester but I truly learn the lesson well. Due to this experience, I have my mind to study
abroad for my master degree. Not only learn more but also watch more. Since I went back to Taiwan, I kept on finding the opportunity of being intern or design assistant. Before graduate from school, I seize my day to learn more. Each job taught

We get puzzled sometimes. In the moment, I felt like I 'm drowning in a
deep ocean where also temperature

Dots Group project. Due to the issue of food coloring, our idea is
to remove the vivid color from the food itself to the package. Concerning about the safety, we chose the paper which is half transparent. Even though we print the pattern on the
other side of package, we still can see the color while we are having our dessert. Our main concept is to eat healthy food but don't give up using the color which makes food look attractive.
