Johnny Hill’s final game as the head coach of the Oxford Chargers was filled with excitement. His quarterback, Jack Abraham, dazzled the crowd at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, and the partisan crowd, with his throwing ability. His top skill guys, DK Met-
calf, Hiram Wadlington, Zach Cousar, Jimmy Greaser and Ken Presley, made play after play against the vaunted defense of Wayne County.
