John Filgo Jr., Killed. On Sunday morning last John Fil~o, Jr., the eighteen year old son of Andrew Filgo was shot and fatally wounded by Ab. Gordon at the Mobile and Ohio railroad station at Verona at 9:30 o'clock in the morning. Two shots were fired from a pistol in the hands of Gordon, one of which entered the hand of Filgo, the other in the abdomen. Officers were present and immediately took charge of Gordon. Filgo was taken to his home where he died at 12:15 the same day.
