ABIGAIL FIELDS Alcorn Central High School • Valedictorian • Other Honors and Activities: Abby is currently ranked first in her graduating class and her academic achievements include: 1st place awards in Chemistry, U.S. History, Health, Fields Algebra 2, English II; 2nd place awards in Eng I and Dual Credit Eng Comp I. Honors and Awards Abby has received are: Selected to attend Mississippi Governors School, ACHS Top Ten, Alliance Junior Leadership Alcorn Graduate, Citizenship Award, Principal Leadership Council, finalist in speech and 3rd place in song leading at Lads to Leaders, and Good Samaritan Platinum Service award for three years running at Lads to Leaders. Parents: Ricky and Kimberly Fields Future Plans: After Abby graduates high school, she plans to attend Freed Hardeman to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry. TRINITY LASSITER Alcorn Central High School • Salutatorian • Other Honors and Activities: Trinity is currently ranked #2 in her graduating class, is a member of ACHS Hall of Fame, and attended 2016 Rotary Youth Leadership Alcorn Convention in Olive Branch. Trinity has received 1st place awards in these subject: Spanish I, Spanish II, Family & Individual Lassiter Health, Early Childhood Education I, and Music Appreciation , and 3rd place awards in: Algebra II, U.S. History, and Family Dynamics. She also received a Certificate of Excellence in Mississippi Studies. Trinity has poetry in two books published by the America Library of Poetry, “Feathers of Angels” in Accolades (2014) and “Colder than You” in Imagine (2017). She has also had poems featured in the Crossroads Poetry Project in Corinth. Trinity has been a member of the 4-H Shooting Sports and won first place in a shooting competition her first year of the program along with three Certificates of Achievement from the club. Parents: Scott and Heather Future Plans: After graduation Trinity plans on attending Northeast Mississippi Community College where she will pursue a degree in elementary education and then transfer to Ole Miss to finish up her degree.
