What Is The Tupelo Blue Suede Cruise? In 2003, the folks of Tupelo, Mississippi decided to host an event that combined their love of fine automobiles with the unique sound of Rock and Roll. Thus, the Tupelo Blue Suede Cruise was born. BSC has invited car enthusiasts from across the country to visit us during the first weekend in May to showcase a variety of antique, classic and hot rod automobiles. Owners are asked to cruise to four different and unique locations that show off the diversity and history that is Tupelo, Mississippi. In addition to visiting the four separate venues --the BSC also offers live entertainment, competitions, terrific Southern hospitality, and one heck of a swap meet. You may also want to make a special pilgrimage to the new
Tupelo Automobile Museum, with over 100 antique cars and spaces for restoration viewing. Their extensive collection features an 1899 Knox, a Duesenberg, three Hispano Suizas, five Packards, a Tucker, an Elvis car, a never-driven Viper and more! So, if you are a classic car owner, come be a part of the newest car show in the United States--and come be a part of history. And if you are not a car owner, come visit us anyway! There is no admission price, and lots to see and do--from browsing classic cars, trading at the swap meet, dancing to great bands, eating fine food, or just relaxing in one of our beautiful parks.

2010 Musical Performers The Corvettes Music by the Gents Saturday, May 1, 2010 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. Venue: Bancorp South Arena Motown, Soul, Rock & Roll
Friday, April 30, 2010 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. Venue: Bancorp South Arena Take a large pinch of nostalgia - that feeling that makes you tingle inside, and brings you face-to-face with the tastes, smells, and feelings of your past. Combine it with best wellknown hits of the fifties and sixties. Stir until totally danceable. Arrange the music on a platter exactly as people remember it. Embellish with glitter, add a helping of wild-andcrazy, and sprinkle with a generous portion of laughs.
The Paul Rainey Band Friday, April 30, 2010 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Venue: Bancorp South Arena From Northern Mississippi hails one fine rhythm & blues band, The Paul Rainey Band. Our big horn section, strong rhythm section and eight powerful singers help keep us in demand for for all kinds of events!
Proud sponsor of the Blue Suede Cruise!
Bill Brooks Elvis Tribute Saturday, May 1, 2010 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. Venue: Bancorp South Arena Bill Brooks has dedicated hundreds of hours to perfecting his “Elvis Tribute” show due to his love of Elvis’ music and also due to the fat that Bill bears somewhat of a close resemblance to Elvis, especially when he’s dressed the part. Of course, you’ll be able to see that for yourself from the pictures. Bill is a member of The Profession Elvis Impersonators Association which is based in Las Vegas, NV. If you are an Elvis fan,, and aren’t most of us, then you’ll surely enjoy Bill’s moving tribute to Elvis. growing up in the 50’s, Bill was influenced by the music of Elvis. As a young man, Bill sang lots of Elvis songs in school programs and local talent shows all round East Tennessee. After Elvis’ death in 1977, Bill was enlisted to become head liner for a road show featuring his tribute to Elvis. He toured the country performing his tribute for literally thousands of people and was voted one of the top rated Elvis shows in the country.
