A

SK TERRY LEVY about his greatest professional accomplishment and he doesn’t hesitate — being selected to serve as director of Jackson law firm Daniel Coker Horton & Bell. Following in the footsteps of more senior firm leaders was a tremendous honor for the Pascagoula native, whose practice focuses on Commercial and Business Litigation, Construction Law and Professional Liability cases. A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Levy received his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Levy believes that professionalism and honesty are the cornerstones to practicing law and says that attorneys can be effective competitors without being unnecessarily adversarial. Levy is a member of the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. Levy and his wife, Davina, enjoy following Ole Miss sports.

ORRANCE AULTMAN is a senior partner in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi office of Aultman, Tyner & Ruffin. A practicing attorney since 1956, Aultman’s law practice is focused primarily on civil litigation in the areas of personal injury, insurance matters, product and premise liability and construction claims. In 1986, he retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard’s JAG corps with the rank of Brigadier General. Aultman

received his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and earned his doctorate from William Carey University in May 2008. Under his leadership, Aultman Tyner & Ruffin now provides legal representation for clients in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. A member of the South Central Mississippi and American Bar associations, Aultman served with the Mississippi Board of Bar Admissions by appointment of the Supreme Court from 1979 until 1982.

NATIVE OF Jackson, G. Todd Butler is an associate at Phelps Dunbar. He practices in the area of labor and employment, with a focus primarily on constitutional, labor and employment litigation, including Section 1983 civil rights actions. A portion of Butler’s practice is dedicated to traditional labor matters, including defending unfair labor practice complaints before the National Labor Relations Board.

Additionally, he teaches two courses annually at the Mississippi College School of Law. Before joining Phelps Dunbar, Butler was a law clerk to the Honorable Leslie H. DMITTED TO the Mississippi Bar in 1991, Ottowa E. Carter Jr. is the Chief Legal Officer of the Jordan Carter & Body Law Firm. Carter graduated magna cum laude from Jackson State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He earned his law degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 1991. As Chief Legal Officer, Carter is

Bradley S. Clanton Baker Donelson

RADLEY CLANTON is a shareholder in Baker Donelson’s Jackson office, as well as the Washington, D.C., office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of appellate litigation, public policy, internal investigations, government litigation, election law, and commercial litigation. Clanton also has served as Chief Counsel to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee on the Constitution. Through his internal

IM CRAWLEY is a partner with the Ridgeland law firm of Anderson Crawley & Burke. He began practicing law on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the 1980s, and his career path has permitted him to try virtually every kind of case for which insurance liability or risk is involved. The depth of that experience is illustrated by the fact that he has represented civil defendants in 69 of Mississippi’s 82 counties.

IKE FRASCOGNA is the senior partner in the Jackson law firm of Frascogna Courtney, PLLC, which was established in 1972. Frascogna is a graduate of

A

S DIRECTOR of the non-profit Mission First Legal Aid Office in Jackson, Patricia Gandy strives to help those who would not otherwise have access to the legal system. At Mission First, fees are based on clients’ ability to pay. Inside a building on the grounds of what once was an abandoned west Jackson apartment complex, Gandy’s goal isn’t to make money but to provide legal assistance to the working poor in

the Jackson metro area. A former law clerk to former Mississippi Court of Appeals Chief Judge Billy Bridges, Gandy assumed her current position in 2006. Additionally, she teaches a onehour classroom component at Mississippi College on poverty law issues affecting the underserved. Before joining Mission First, Gandy worked as an attorney in the area of toxic and environmental torts for Jackson law firm Butler Snow.
