Andi Bedsworth organizes an art camp at the Powerhouse Community Arts Center almost every holiday when kids are not in class. The camp held this past week over spring break was open to kids ages 3-10. Parents had an option of sending their kids to full or half-day sessions with the full days lasting from 9 in the morning until 5p.m., and the half days lasting from 9 until noon. Campers follow a schedule. They complete three art projects in the morning with games and a snack break mixed in among the projects. When the half-day kids go home, the rest of the group eat a lunch they brought from home and watch a movie. More projects are done in the afternoon.
