Four Oxford business this week have set aside certain business hours in which they will donate a portion of their proceeds to benefit the Oxford Charger Booster Club. Last month, the Oxford City Board and Mayor Pat Patterson officially declared this week to be known from this point on
as Oxford Charger Booster Club Week. During this week, the booster club is working with local business to support student athletes in the Oxford School District. One of the businesses working with the booster club is the Growler on the Square. The Growler is craft beer spot that serves appetizers, a few entrees and a variety of different beer from all over the region and
beyond. General Manger Krisi Allen said that she was excited for the opportunity to give back to the community. “We were so excited for the chance to contribute to the community by supporting the booster club,” Allen said. “I have a son in the Oxford School District, and though he isn’t old enough for sports TURN TO REALITY PAGE 13
