After a season in which they finished as 4A North Half runner-up, the Pontotoc Warriors are looking to make it one step farther. It will be a long journey to get there, but coach Josh Dowdy is confident the team has the pieces to make it happen. “We’re excited about our core coming back,” Dowdy said. “Of course we lost some seniors that were very big contributors last year, especially down the stretch. But we have some young guys that are going to fill those spots. They are hungry. They know our goal is to get to Trustmark (Park, sit of the state championships) this year. We’ve got a good enough team put together to accomplish that goal.” Pontotoc will be led by a strong senior class. Senior multi-sport standout Caleb Hobson provides speed in center field and consistency at the top of the lineup (.442 batting average and .522 on-base percentage in 2019). Peeko Townsend will move to the outfield this year and provides a big stick in the middle of the lineup after hitting .400 with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs as a junior. Senior Reed Emison will man first
base after playing the outfield a season ago, and senior Ethan Carnes will play at third. Senior Carsen Dallas provides some offensive pop as a designated hitter and part-time outfielder. Senior Ross Mathews will be another key contributor in the outfield and also on the mound. “We moved Peeko to the outfield this year, because I think in doing that we have one of the premier outfield groups in North Mississippi with Caleb Hobson and Ross Mathews,” Dowdy said. “Ethan Carnes is a great defensive player. Reed Emison is 6’5 over at first and provides a big target for our infielders.” Along with Mathews, senior Miles Galloway will also be an important part of the pitching equation. Sophomore Brice Deaton burst onto the scene as a freshman and looks to anchor the pitching staff along with freshman Jon Robert Carnes, who emerged as an important piece as an eighth grader last season. Deaton and Miles Galloway will split time at shortstop depending on who is pitching. “Brice (Deaton) has gotten bigger and stronger and is throwing the ball a lot harder. He is also focusing on certain pitches and hitting locations,” Dowdy said. “Jon Robert (Carnes) is a horse. He got a ton of valuable ex-
perience last year as an eighth grader, and he is going to be a big time baseball player. Miles Galloway is one of our workhorses as well. He throws the ball really well and has got a really good curve ball. If he cuts down on his walks he could be one of the top pitchers in North Mississippi. Ross is the key for us this year on the pitching staff. He went 9-2 as a sophomore, but he did not throw a lot for us last year. We are going to look for him as a senior to lean on that experience and throw in some big games for us.” One of Pontotoc’s biggest graduation losses is 2019 Dandy Dozen catcher Hayden Harris, but juniors Eli Harlow and Cade Armstrong are set to step in and be productive at the position. “We feel confident putting either one of those guys back there at any given time,” Dowdy said. Sophomore Walt Gardner and junior Tucker Campbell will both see time at second base. “In order for us to reach our goal our we are going to have to continue to be the offensive threat that we are,” coach Dowdy said. “I think we’ve made some upgrades defensively that will help us. If we can throw strikes and make the routine plays, with the way we swing the bats we’ve got a good chance just about every night.”

The South Pontotoc Cougars won 18 games a season ago and made it to the second round of the Class 3A playoffs. The Cougars lost four starting pitchers and six starters, and they will be looking to fill those holes in their rotation and lineup while moving up in classification to 4A. The Cougars are young and inexperienced and are playing in a tough division, but they are up to the task and ready to see what happens this season. “We have some young guys and a good crop coming back this season,” said South Pontotoc head coach Jeff Harmon. “We have a lot of guys that we will need to step up, fill in some holes and take on new roles this year.” Senior Cade Jones will get a shot at starting on the mound for South Pontotoc this season. He hit well in limited plate appearances in 2019 and will be relied up at the plate and in the field as well. “We need Cade to step up and fill in offensively for us,” said coach Harmon. “He will also toe the rubber for us.”
Senior Paxton McCoy was moved from catcher to the outfield this season. Senior Joshua Stuto and junior Chris Fleming will also be big contributors in the outfield. Freshman Hunter Bagwell returns for the Cougars and will be playing shortstop this season. Bagwell led the team with a .438 batting average and drove in 22 runs in 2019. Channing Lackey returns as well. The junior hit .400 a season ago and drove in 20 runs. He will be playing first base and third base this season. Eli Allen will also be in the mix and play a few different positions for South. Ashton Goggins looks to play a big role in the infield as well at third base. Chase
Long is set to be the starting catcher. “I think we will be fine defensively and play sound fundamental baseball,” said coach Harmon. “I think we will pitch by committee early and see who can separate themselves from the pack and develop some consistency.” Bagwell, Allen, Jackson Cook and Jones will be given shots early on to fill the big holes left in the Cougars’ pitching rotation due to graduation. “We are really young and need to develop and mature quickly,” said coach Harmon. “We are in a tough division and inexperienced, but we just have to take it game by game be fundamentally sound, and work hard every day.”

The North Pontotoc Vikings baseball program arguably has never had a better run of success than it has had the past two seasons. North Pontotoc appeared in back-to-back 3A state championship series and won a state title a year ago. The Vikings moved up in classification from 3A to 4A this season. North previously competed in 4A before moving back down after the 2012-13 school year. They will be looking to replace six starters. They will do so with a roster full of upperclassman with some playing time but not a lot of experience. “We are not young, but we are inexperienced and we are going to be a work in progress,” said North Pontotoc head coach Chad Anthony. “One good thing I like about this club though is that the guys are hungry to prove something. Even after all the success we have had they are ready
to go out there and make a name for themselves and create an identity of their own.” Senior James Clay McGregor returns this season after posting a 1.82 ERA and .215 opponents’ batting average in 42 innings pitched a year ago. Junior Ty Roberson returns to the mound and outfield this season. Roberson compiled 24 strikeouts in 22 innings while leading the team with a .451 batting average and 42 runs batted in. Junior Kaden Wilson (.349 batting average) will be back hitting atop the lineup as well. Wilson moved to shortstop from the outfield, and Bo Howell will start at catcher this year after playing third base a season ago. Ty Roberson shifts to center field from right field, and McGregor will be in the mix at first and third base. “Kaden, Bo, Ty, and James Clay played a lot for us, but not in the same positions,” Anthony said. “We will move our lineups around and have a lot of guys fighting for spots too. We just need some game time to see who
is ready and who isn’t.” Senior Hayes Malone played extensively in the last half of the season last year and will be counted on again. Junior Hunter Miles, senior Wes Steele and junior Drake Steele will also be in the mix for key roles, and freshman Reece Kentner looks to make a big impact as well. Senior West Sutton will see an increase in playing time after limited appearances a season ago. “We had 29 on roster in 2019 and we lost seven, but we have most if not all of the rest coming back,” said coach Anthony. “They know what it feels like to win and play at a high level, and I think they are a confident group that works hard and is chomping at the bit.” North Pontotoc will need to find an arm or two to compete in 4A this season, but they have as good of a shot as any to win the division. Program stability is what breeds success, and the Vikings are as consistent as they come.

The Pontotoc softball team is as young as it has ever been, but there is reason for optimism after coming off a 9-16 season a year ago. The Lady Warriors graduated one senior off last year’s team and three starters for one reason or another, but they will return four seniors and a solid core of underclassman to anchor this year’s team. “Our seniors do a tremendous job as leaders holding the rest of the team accountable,” said head coach Michael Wildmon. “I’m also really excited about our freshman class.” Senior Abigail Anderson will play first base and bat in the heart of the order for Pontotoc again this season, and Jadyn Spears will be back roaming the outfield for the Lady Warriors. “Abigail will be huge for us at the plate. Randa [Payne] and Gabby [Golden] can do whatever I need them to do and have both grown a lot since last year,” Wildmon said.
Both also seniors that have played a great deal of softball for the program, Payne will play second base and Golden third base. Allie Beckley is changing positions this year and will now be playing shortstop. The junior had a great season offensively a year ago. “I look for Allie to keep playing at a high level,” said coach Wildmon. “She has improved a lot at the plate.” Three players will be in the circle for the Lady Warriors in 2020 - sophomore Kinsey Cayson, freshman Addison Owen and eighth grader Averi Bridgman.
“All three are going to split time in the circle early on,” said coach Wildmon. “They have all worked hard with coach (Hailey) Frenn, and we are confident with any of them in the circle.” Freshmen Sadie Stegall and Ella Hill could have big roles this season, as well as Owen. Jaycie Walker will be the starting catcher. “I think there will be some bumps in the road due to our inexperience in the circle,” said coach Michael Wildmon. “They have all been working hard so far, and I’m really excited about the season and to see their hard work pay off.”

South Pontotoc softball made school history in 2019 when they won the program’s first ever state championship, finishing with a record of 224-1. The Lady Cougars have a consistent history of success over head coach Adam Patterson’s 14 years at the helm, and, despite key losses and a move up in classification to 4A, the team should again be a force to be reckoned with this spring. “It is going to be a challenge for sure; there is going to be tough competition in our division,” Patterson said. “We will have our work cut out for us, but hopefully we can compete and play well.” One of the major keys to the team’s success is ace pitcher Allyson Harrison, a junior who has been the team’s primary pitcher since the ninth grade. Harrison has developed into one of the area’s top players and should give the Lady Cougars a chance in most games. Harrison posted a 21-3-2 record with a 0.97 ERA and 198 strikeouts last season. “She works hard, practices hard and puts a lot of time into it,” Patterson
said. “I think she is reaping the benefits of her effort. We are going to depend on her to have another big year.” Carlee Dunlap, Alexis Hurst and Makayla McGreger will provide pitching depth for South. Harrison will be throwing to a familiar face, as catcher Rebekah Pilcher provides a steady hand at catcher. “Bek (Pilcher) is a good defender,” Patterson. “She has a lot of experience behind the plate, and she hits the ball real well too.” Those are two of four returning starters along with Secora Weeks, one of the team’s most productive hitters who will move from the outfield to shortstop this season, and outfielder Sydney Brazil.
Other players that are expected to have key roles are Maggie Ross and Maddie Holcomb, who have been playing at third base and second base, respectively. Lydia Garrison and Carlee Dunlap have been working at first base. Koryn Mathews will be a contributor of the outfield along with Brazil. Other players competing for playing time in the outfield are Hailey Rackley, Arlee McClellan, Brylee Vandiver and Kilynn Carlisle. “We’ve got a bunch of young players who have stepped up and are playing well right now,” coach Patterson said. “A big key for us is to get more consistency with the bats. If we can score some runs we will be fine, because we play hard and pitch it well.”

North Pontotoc turned in a winning season and made the playoffs last year, winning the program’s fourth consecutive division championship in the process. The Lady Vikings will have three seniors and a large junior class to fill the spots that were left open due to graduation. It has been a work in progress to figure out who is going to play where. “All three of our seniors have played a lot of innings for North Pontotoc. Cadie Beth Gates will be in the circle again this season, and we need her to keep doing what she does, being a leader in the middle,” said assistant coach Kyle Robbins. “Belle Ross can play really anywhere we need her to. Karley Robbins is playing first base after moving in from the outfield, and we will need both of them to continue being leaders and be productive at the plate.” Juniors Tiffany and Tayler Bishop will be roaming in the outfield for the Vikings this season, and juniors Haisley Coker and Anna Grace Comer will both be playing key roles as well. Sophomore Brooke McBray-
er will be back at second base for North. Sophomore Abby Waldron, junior Payton Bailey and freshman Lexie Walker will also be back. “This season both Tayler and Tiffany Bishop are going to get a chance to swing it and play in the outfield, and they have looked good at doing that so far,” said coach Robbins. “We have quite a few kids whose roles have gotten bigger, and we are going to be asking a lot more from them.” North Pontotoc will play in a new division, 1-4A, after moving up in

classification. However, with a fouryear starter in the circle and most of their team returning, winning more games than not and making the postseason is well within reach in 2020. “I think the girls are going to work hard, and we are going to get things figured out,” said coach Robbins. “They know there is nothing different even with (head) coach (CeeCee) Cavenaugh out. We are going to ask them to do the same things, work hard and make sure they keep getting better.”

The Pontotoc Warrior and Lady Warrior track and field teams look to again compete for championships during the upcoming season. After coming up a half-point short of a 4A state championship last year, the Warrior boys are focused on making every effort for every point. Experience will be a key as the season unfolds. Senior Shaun Christenson returns after winning a state championship in 2019 in record-setting fashion by clearing 14 feet, 6 inches. Junior Logan Moore also is back after taking bronze at the state meet. Michael Moore and Will Porter also return for senior campaigns. Moore was a top hurdler and relay member a season ago. Porter had his best cross country season last fall, and head coach Brian Morgan looks for him to be very competitive in distance events. Seniors Ethan Hester and Tyjey Arnold bring experience to the discus ring. Austin Nickson is a talented 200/400 meter dash competitor, and he will look to repeat as a state meet qualifier. Juniors A.J. Osborne and Freddy Porter were state qualifiers a year ago, with Osborne taking bronze in the 300 hurdles. “These guys will lead a pretty talented group of athletes this spring,” coach Morgan said. “Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can be
more consistent in workouts. Then we can put the pieces of the puzzle together to build a competitive team.” The pole vault will again be a strength for the Lady Warriors, as seniors Katie Munlin and Sloan Sansing return after the taking state title (Munlin) and runner-up (Sansing) in 2019. Tierra Simmons is a senior who has been a long-time consistent performer in the throwing events. She was the North Half champion in shot put last season and is a two-time state qualifier in both shot put and discus. Senior Micahela Lopez is poised to lead the squad in distance events. “All four of these young ladies bring talent, experience, and the kind

of leadership qualities every coach wants for their programs,” coach Morgan said. Also returning is 100 meter state champion Jessica Woods. “Jess is not only talented, but she puts a lot of effort in workouts,” Morgan said. “She loves track and loves to compete.” LeLe McKinney (relay), Jakila Feagin (400 meter dash), Kaylin Simmons (relay) and Ava Robbins (relay) all look to build on their state qualifying efforts as well. “We have a good bit of experience and we have a few new faces as well,” Morgan said. “Given the leadership and talent, we expect a very strong team this spring.”

The Pontotoc High School tennis team will vie for its ninth straight division title this season, and coach Kevin Morrow feels good about the team’s talent and experience. “We have good returning players as well as a few talented newcomers, and we’re excited to compete this season,” said Morrow, who is entering his 30th season as the PHS tennis coach. On the ladies’ side, seniors Jaslyn Hopkins and ICC signee Brianna Ball will lead a group that Morrow said shows a lot of enthusiasm and promise. “Both these girls are solid players, and their attitudes and experience are a good example for the others,” said Morrow. Sophomore Caroline Howard will be back on the court for the Lady Warriors, probably playing doubles, Morrow said. Holly Stewart’s expected return from medical leave after spring break will be a boost for the team, Morrow added. Stewart is a sophomore who went to state in singles’ play last season.
Rounding out the rolls for the ladies will be Mollie Rackley, Samantha McGregor, and Heather Tedford, all freshmen playing on the varsity team. “These girls are eager, good com-
petitors, and are doing well,” said Morrow. “It’s early, so we haven’t figured out exactly where everyone will play.” On the boys side, senior Russell Moorman will lead a strong cast expected to do well this season, according to Morrow. “Russell does a good job of motivating others, and he sets a good example for younger players,” said Morrow. Fellow senior John Metcalfe will also help anchor the team, the coach added. Junior Blayze Haynes is a solid player who should continue to improve as well, Morrow said. “We have a good group of tenth-graders, any of whom could beat the other on any given day, including David Metcalfe, Shane Love, and Joseph Henry,” said Morrow. Morrow has been coaching a long time, but springtime and working with the team always energizes him, he said. “I’m excited, and it’s still fun for me to coach,” said Morrow. “It all starts with winning our division, so we’ve done that eight years in a row, and this season we’ll work hard, have fun, and hope to have a good year.”

South Pontotoc established itself as one of the top tennis programs in Class 3A over the course of a number of years. They were the state runner-up in each of the last two seasons, but in 2020 the Cougars will look to compete in a much more difficult 4A classification. “It’s going to be a challenge, but it is doable,” said South head coach Helen Bowen. “There’s just a different approach we have to take.” The Cougars certainly bring back a talented enough team to have another very good season. Nine out of 11 players who qualified for the state tournament return, a number of them at the same spots. Seniors Addi Smith and Maddy Angle captured the state championship in girls doubles. They both are Itawamba Community College signees and are motivated to try to contend again this year against new competition. “It’s a new year and they are going into it like they need to win it again. They still feel like they have a lot to prove,” coach Bowen said. Juniors Isaac Finley and Stroud Mills will team up in boys doubles this season. Finley made the state tourna-
ment in boys doubles in 2019, while Mills went to state at mixed doubles. “They are both similar type players and work well together,” Bowen said. Sam Morgan will step into the boys singles role. “Sam pushed himself hard all summer to play singles,” coach Bowen said. “A lot of kids don’t want to jump into that spot, but he did. He had a bit of injury setback with his back, but he has been doing great there.” State tourney qualifiers Richie Lilly and Colton Fuqua will again team up in boys doubles.
Junior Matthew Butts and freshman Caitlyn Ard, a newcomer to the starting lineup, will compete at mixed doubles. “Those two are going to be something to watch. Caitlyn has got length which helps her, and she is not scared at the net,” Bowen said. “Mixed is a tough spot and not every girl can play it, because you are playing partly against a boy. Matthew’s skill level has jumped drastically since last year, and he is taking her under his wing. Their personalities mesh very well.” Sophomore Nikki Raines, another player that has moved up to a varsity starting position this season, is set to take over at girls singles. Senior Marisela Martinez and junior Maggie Franks are slated for number two girls doubles after playing their way to Jackson together last year, and that familiarity should pave the way for more success. Overall, Bowen expects to contend in her new division (Division 2-4A). She knows making a deep run in the team playoffs will be an uphill battle with the likes of New Albany in the 4A North. Her goal is to get as many players as possible to the state tournament. “The varsity team as a whole is a really close-knit group,” said Bowen. “We are not going to back down from anyone.”

North Pontotoc tennis returns most of its core from a season ago. The high school’s move up in classification to 4A is a challenge for all sports, but it will be especially so for the Vikings. They are grouped in Division 1-4A with North Mississippi tennis juggernaut New Albany, which has won four out of the last five state championships. “I think they (New Albany) have everyone coming back on their team except one,” said head coach Jeremy Lytal. “So it is going to be tough, but we expect to compete for second in the division.” Tishomingo County, Ripley, and Corinth also compete in Division 1-4A “We do have a lot coming back,” coach Lytal said. “We only lost one senior from last year, Jeremiah Eldridge, who was a great player for our program. We probably can’t replace at him this moment, but as a team we should be better than we were last year because we have a lot more experience. But we are still pretty young.” North has a pair of newcomers on the boys side who Lytal thinks will make a significant impact over the course of the year in Mitch McCord and Weston Crouch, and the two have worked their way into the starting lineup. “They both put a bunch of work in
over the summer and have vastly improved,” Lytal said. McCord will play alongside Jake Hall in boys doubles. Crouch is also playing doubles, teaming with senior Collin Crawson, a veteran and one of the team’s leaders. “Collin has played a lot for us and is a very good player,” Lytal said. Ethan Robertson has been working at boys singles. “Bo Haygood is back and will help a lot playing mixed doubles along with Kailyn Lott,” coach Lytal said. “Kailyn has been around the program for a long time. She has made the state tournament a couple of times before as a mixed player and played doubles for us last year.” Senior Lillian Angle will be a big part of the girls side of the equation. She will play doubles along with Ha-

ley Dedeaux. “Lillian has also been around a long time. She knows what to do and does it well,” Lytal said. Lydia Hill and Rachel Nanney will also compete in girls doubles. Lizzy White looks set to step into the girls single spot. “The goal is to get as many as we can to state,” Lytal said. “It will be challenge because New Albany is so strong and only the top two in each spot go, but I think we have a good shot on a couple of courts; and you never know about the rest and how things might play out. “We’ve got a number of kids who have played a good bit. I think the key for them is improving just a little bit on strategy, knowing when they can do things. I think that will really help us a lot.”

Like most teams in the area, Pontotoc boys golf has been hampered in preseason practice due to consistent rain. However, first-year coach Zach Gory likes the potential his group has, and he has been preaching the importance of being fierce competitors in order for the Warriors to reach their goals. “I guess my goal for the year is growth,” said coach Gory. “Wherever you were yesterday lets hard work to get better today. Over time that will pay off and our scores will reflect that. “Every day I want to see great attitude and effort. Another thing is that everything we do has a purpose, whether it is warming up and stretching or going through a range session. “And then I just want us to compete. I want to see bulldog kids who will go compete in everything they do, and we’ve got competitors on this team.” Despite the graduation of a junior college signee and another senior, Pontotoc has the benefit of three multiyear players returning in Jolan Mills, John Mark Mills and Mac Cook. In high school golf, four players’ scores are counted toward the team’s overall score. “My message to my three core guys is if you go out there and take care of
your job we will find one more, somebody is going to have a hot day and put up that fourth number that is going to get us where we need to be,” Gory said. Consistency from those veterans will be important, as the remaining four members- Brady Bass, J.D. Chism, Austin Brown and Cayton Corley- of the roster are new to the game. However, Gory likes their potential. “Those guys are athletes,” he said. “If given enough time athletic kids can figure out how to be good at something. Brady Bass has been on the range starting last summer and his swing improves daily. Austin Brown, a 7th grader, is a very competitive guy and has an attitude I like. J.D. Chism is one of the state’s top swimmers and has the athletic build. It’s just a matter of figuring out the gold swing. Cayton Corley is a baseball player who picked
up golf. If someone comes from baseball usually the hand-eye coordination is good enough to where, when they figure out where things need to be in the swing, they tend to be able to make that switch quickly. “We just have to practice, go out on the range and hit ball, and play. If we come out there with a purpose and compete we will get to where we need to be.” For the girls team, freshman Addison Mask is the lone returner. Avery Walton and Mandalyn Black will also compete for the Lady Warriors this season. “We’re looking to grow from last year and continue to improve on our game,” said girls head coach Jonathan Beard. “We have three amazing young ladies that love golf and are a blessing to coach. We’re looking forward to playing this game competitively for Pontotoc High School.”

South Pontotoc’s golf teams have the potential for productive campaigns in 2020, as every one as their varsity competitors is a returner this season. “This is the first year that we’ve had that since we started back the golf program,” said head coach Cage Mills. “We still have only one senior. So we are still kind of young, but at the same time I told them it is time to stop making that excuse. They have all played in matches before and have experienced that competition. As far as specific expectations, it is tough to say. Of course we would love to make it to state, but I mainly just want to see them to take that next step. “ Dawson Tutor will be team’s lone senior. He will be joined by sophomore Cooper Bishop, sophomore Landon Bishop, sophomore Rylan Roberts and freshman Tanner Davis. Mills sees his group as fairly even in their ability levels, and he just wants to see them get better as a whole. “I think one through five they are all pretty close,” he said. “I don’t have that one guy who is going to go out there and shoot super low, but at the same time they all have the ability to step up and shoot a good score. “There’s a difference in mindset be-
tween just playing out on the course when we practice and in playing a match. Right now we are dealing with nerves and some are just not handling it really well. Now most of these guys are still ninth and tenth graders, but they have had experience, so we’ve got to be able to make that transition.” On the girls side, all three of the team members- senior Madison Bagwell, junior Ella Gaspard and junior Mattie Washington- come back after each played golf for the first time in

SOUTH GOLF SEEKS TO TAKE NEXT STEP IN 2020
2019. “They’ve all got a little bit of experience, but they all are still relatively new to golf,” Mills said. “When it comes to work ethic and just how they listen and how disciplined they are, I would put them up against anyone. Kind of like the boys, I want to see them make that transition into match play. I’ve seen them get better and be able to make shots. Now I am ready to see them translate that into better scores.”

Even though he has a small team this year, North Pontotoc head coach Chris Parman still looks for his boys golf team to be a solid group by the end of the year. The Vikings have four players, which is exactly the number of scores that get counted per school in a match and allows them to compete as a team. North returns veterans Jon Major Earnest, a senior, and Brayden Nowlin, a sophomore. “It (the season) will depend in large part on how they (Earnest and Nowlin) play,” Parman said. Earnest qualified for the 3A State Tournament in 2019 as an individual, posting a district tournament 18-hole round of 77. North Pontotoc has been moved up by the MHSAA in classification and will compete in Class 4A this season. “Jon Major hits the ball straight and hits it a long way,” Parman said. “There have been several 18-hole matches where he has shot in the 70s. If he can gets his short game, chipping and putting, better he can make noise at state if we can back down there.” “Brayden (Nowlin) is a very similar player to Jon Major, but he doesn’t have as much experience. He is a good ball striker. He just needs to work on that short game.”
Joining the team this year are Zeke Minier and Reid Bennett. “They have played on their own a lot, but they have just never played on a team,” Parman said. “So they have obviously been around golf, and that’s a big start in itself. “They have some potential, but they just have to get out there and continue to practice.

NORTH GOLF EXPECTS TO HAVE SOLID YEAR
“I want us to be competitive in our division. I don’t look for it to be exceptionally strong, so as long as the two new guys can improve and our two experienced players play the way they are capable of, team-wise I think we can compete for the top two in the division.” North will not have a girls golf team in 2020.
