Jowin Foo

Jowin Foo is a graduate from The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, alumni of Interactive Architecture Lab and Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations ex-organizing committee. His research agendas encompassed within the scope of platform capitalism(big tech), cognitive and media architecture, and design fiction. He believes that the emerging platform technologies of the 21st century would be the dominant paradigm that alters the way society, economy, and politics perform in the near future. The new normal will be a future where we will face complex issues that deal with surveillance, sousveillance economy, tech gentrification and design ethics, etc
