During the pandemic it is a lot harder for us to get food sources, by not being able to go out and all that so permaculture aspect itself helps us in so many ways. Growing your own food is one, apparently this is a fairly easy thing to do with little effort needed.

Project 2

Gardening and meditation? Why not join it together? Utilize your balcony for useful stuffs that will help you de stress from being locked up inside all day. Learned about creative designing and choosing the right material for comfort.

PROJECT 3

Transeat: MRT CORP design competition

Project 3

Designing bench for New MRT stations

MRT BENCH-TIGA The name based on the story behind the bench design. Tiga means three in Malaysia word

After weeks of discussing, proposals and tutorials, this is the final design that we came up with. Bench-Tiga which is three pods connected by steel frames and has the LED attached to the seat (to show which station you’re in).

Reection Overall, I learned a lot from this module, even though it was conducted online. I learned a lot from my lecturer who shared so much of her experience in the industry and also from the guest speaker who shared his knowledge which gave me insight on what really happens on hand. The lecturer was nice enough to enforce me to explore furthermore in my design. I liked how the projects were also connected to what is going on in the world right now which is the pandemic. This module opened my eyes on furniture designing and all the aspects that was involved to create a ďŹ nal product which will not go out of style.
