ABOUT THE ARTISTS RHPM DANCERS JOSHUA CULBREATH (RHPM Dancer), through his mother’s influence, started dancing at the age of five. By the age of seven, Josh’s journey in Bboying began after watching movies such as BREAKIN and Beat Street. In middle school, Josh got involved with a street dance group called KRS Ent., which was credited for introducing him to performing on stage in a synchronized group setting. In high school, Josh started practicing with Philly’s local breakin’ scene to further his breakin’ skill and knowledge. Since 2009, Josh has been performing with Rennie Harris Puremovement Street Dance Theater Company and with Raphael Xavier, who has recently been exploring the movement of breakin’ on an aging body. Today, Josh is the founder and an active member of Retro Flow Crew, who represents the breakin’ scenes of Philadelphia and New Jersey. He was also named one of the “Top 25 Artists to Watch” by Dance Magazine in 2018. Josh has showcased his own work in places such as York College, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, the Yard on Martha's Vineyard, the Come Together Festival hosted by Koresh Dance, and The Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. PHILLIP CUTTINO JR. (RHPM Dancer) is a Philadelphia native hip-hopper, instilled since birth with breakin’, graffiti, DJ-ing, and rapping. His first performance was at the age of four with his father, a prominent MC, and B-Boy in the Philadelphia hip-hop scene. He started in a crew called the X-men doing local talent shows and learned from some of Philadelphia greats. He has toured throughout the United States and internationally. FYNESS MASON (RHPM Dancer), raised in New York City, is a Temple University, BA, and Harcum College Graduate. Her Hip Hop dance career began with Rennie Harris Puremovemnt Dance Company in 2005. Mason has performed nationally and internationally in theaters such as the Kimmel Center, Kennedy Center, Saddlers Wells in London England, The Ailey Citigroup Theater, Carpenters Center in Long Beach, The Joyce Theater, Lied Center, Bates Dance Festival, Bryn Mawr College, Wells Fargo Center, NYC SummerStage, and BAM. She's taught classes at Temple University, Bryn Mawr College, Florida State University, Bates Dance Festival, and more. Her classes incorporate movement from the African Diaspora, as well as Hip Hop and Afro-Latino culture. Her favorite genre of Hip Hop dance is House, Rocking (breaking), and classic old school Hip Hop. Mason has performed with Rennie Harris Puremovement, Face Da Phlave Entertainment, Montazh all woman's Hip Hop Dance Company, Flyground with Lela Aisha Jones, Oyin Hardy's Troupe Dada, and the late Kariamu Welsh. After a hiatus of going back to school to study Occupational Therapy Assisting and raising three children with her husband Steve Mason, resident DJ at WDAS Philadelphia radio station, she is back and ready to share her love for dance with her community and to uplift women through hip hop dance culture with a message that you can do anything you put your mind to.


ABOUT THE ARTISTS EMILY PIETRUSZKA (RHPM Dancer) began dancing professionally in 2015 after graduating with her BFA in Dance from The University of Colorado at Boulder. She began touring with Rennie Harris Puremovement in 2018. Pietruszka has shown her own work in Philadelphia, PA at the Illadelph street dance festival, The Come Together Festival hosted by Koresh Dance, Here and Now vol. II hosted by W.O.R.X, and as a guest choreographer at Franklin & Marshall College (PA). Emily has taught and guest lectured in various contexts including Mark Morris Dance Group, New Visions for Public Schools, California State University, The Juilliard School, The Ailey School, Princeton University, and Rennie Harris University’s street dance certification program. Currently residing in Philly, Emily teaches at Philadelphia's own street dance education studio, Urban Movement Arts. She operates her own online personal training business, Embodied by Em (embodiedbyem.online), and is the co-founder of Snack Break (@snackbreaklivearts), a project-based duo created in 2020 that specializes in street dance-inspired performance works made for the concert stage. RACHEL SNIDER (RHPM Dancer) is a Chambersburg PA native who relocated to Philadelphia in 2016. She started dancing at the age of three training in ballet and modern and competed in multiple dance competitions. Rachel began learning Hip Hop at the age of twelve with Jason Reed in REACH! Hip Hop is based in Carlisle, PA. Rachel discovered her true passion for dance through Moncell Durden and his company Keystone Dance Project, learning styles such as Locking, House, Breaking, ex. Through Moncell, Rachel met her biggest dance inspiration and mentor, Marcus Tucker. She has trained under the direction of Marcus Tucker, and The Hood Lockers for six years, and has become a core member of their dance company Hood Nation. She is an alumni at Jacob’s Pillow for Social Dances - Jazz to Hip Hop. Rachel has performed in Hood Nation’s DEETOUR show at Jacob’s Pillow Inside Out Series, Ursinus College, York College, and assisted Marcus Tucker’s teaching residency at Eastern University. She has been teaching in Philadelphia for five years at Vince Johnson’s Moviemakers Philly, as well as Lisa Welsch’s First Position Dance Arts. Rachel is excited to continue her dance journey with Rennie Harris Puremovement. DANZEL THOMPSON-STOUT (RHPM Dancer), a native of Allentown, PA, is a performer, choreographer, and educator of Afro-American dance forms. With an embodied cultural history in street and club dance forms, Thompson-Stout commits to being an agent who brings authentic representation of these forms into the academy and broader dance field through his work. As an educator, he is currently an Assistant Professor of Dance at California State University, Long Beach, specializing in street, club, and African dance forms. As a performer, he has worked with several street dance artists such as Vince Johnson, Kyle Clark, and Rennie Harris. He has been a performer for Rennie Harris Puremovement since 2017 performing works such as Nuttin’ But A Word, Lifted, and Funkedified. Danzel is also a principal dancer for The Nance Dance Collective and a guest performer for the Stella Maris Dance Ensemble of Kingston, JA. He is one of the last generations of performers who have worked under Dr. Kariamu Welsh and holds a teaching certification in her contemporary African technique, “Umfundalai”. ThompsonStout holds a BFA in Dance from Temple University and an MFA in Dance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.


ABOUT THE ARTISTS MARGUERITE WALLER (RHPM Dancer) is a dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Heavily involved in the local hip hop community, she pulls from various dance forms, such as waacking, house, locking, breaking, hip hop, postmodern contemporary, and tap in her performance work, choreography, and freestyle/battle practice. She is a recent graduate of Arizona State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, a Minor in Justice Studies, and two Certificates in Arts Entrepreneurship and Socially-Engaged Practice in Design and the Arts. Maggie is a Fulbright Summer Institute Participant, a recipient of the Joan Frazer Memorial Award for Judaism and the Arts, and a published writer in the National Dance Education Organization’s Journal of Dance Education in Practice. Maggie currently lives in Washington, D.C., working in arts education and administration. ANGEL ANDERSON (Apprentice Dancer) is an artist, performer, and improviser. She is a recent graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a dual degree in dance and psychology. Her interests include street and club dance styles, African Diasporic forms, contemporary, and improvisation. While in college, Anderson received the Outstanding Undergraduate Performance Award, the Dance Project Award, and the William McClellan Award. Some of her recent performance credits include Rennie Harris’ LIFTED, Danzel Thompson-Stout’s Manifesting our Movement and Manifesting our Dance, as well as his work The Undying and Resilient. MIYEKO HARRIS (Apprentice Dancer), born in Philadelphia, began training at the age of eight in Austin, Texas. She later returned to Philadelphia and began her pre-professional training at the Koresh School of Dance where she trained under Melissa Rector, Roni Koresh, and Eva Szabo. Harris performed with Koresh Youth Ensemble for three years. Most recently, she performed with MauraTownsendDance at the 2022 Los Angeles Dance Festival at the Luckman Theatre. Harris is a recent high school graduate and will be attending San Diego State University this fall of 2022. She is excited to be performing with RHPM and looks forward to this next chapter in her life. JEREMY TAYLOR (Apprentice Dancer), from Chicago, IL, is an alum of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2020. JT works as a freelance artist and has gained an immense amount of experience in regard to dance both nationally and internationally. Amongst those feats was his international debut in Jamaica, performing with artists Young Thug and Kanye West and a research/training tour that took him to various locations within the US, continuing his research which he defines as “The Groove Theory.” Immersed deeply in street dance culture (such as Hip-Hop and House), JT is now living in LA to further elevate his career and art.


ABOUT THE ARTISTS ELYSE BROWNING (Associate Dancer), originally from Orange, NJ, began her dance training at the age of four. She continued her dance and academic studies at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY where she received a scholarship to study dance. Elyse later moved to Philadelphia where she joined Philadanco. During this time she had the pleasure of working with choreographers such as Ray Mercer, Christopher Huggins, Rennie Harris, Daniel Ezralow, and George Faison. She has had the opportunity to dance in the opening of Michael Blackson's set in Shaquille O'Neal's All-Star Comedy Jam. Elyse has traveled to Germany, Luxembourg, and The Netherlands with Apollo's Get on the Good Foot. She has also had the opportunity to perform with Beyonce for MTV's 2016 VMAs. She is currently a personal trainer for the Tracy Anderson Method NYC and is thrilled to be a part of Rennie Harris Puremovement!!! MICHAEL MANSON (Associate Dancer) is a teaching artist, dancer, and choreographer, specializing in the street dance forms of popping and Detroit Jit. In 2015, Mike was a featured dancer on the television program So You Think You Can Dance, which showcased his expertise of Jit. Mike was the primary choreographer of the Detroit Pistons dance crew D-Town and his teaching credits include master classes at Arizona State University, the Columbia College Chicago Dance Center, and Broadway Dance Center. Mike has taught workshops and performed internationally in Paris, France, and in La Paz, Bolivia. Currently, Mike is on tour with the acclaimed street dance company, Rennie Harris Puremovement.

THE HOOD LOCKERS RICHARD EVANS (Hood Locker) is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor from southern New Jersey. Currently residing in Philadelphia, he uses his talents to give back to the community by teaching youth and adults at various dance studios within the tri-state area. His professional career started at the age of 18 with Face Da Phlave Entertainment, and from there, opportunities opened up for him as a performer and instructor. Evans later became a member of The Hood Lockers and represented this group on and off stage in numerous battles and workshops throughout the world. Evans’ first opportunity to dance under the direction of Rennie Harris came in 2013 in his play, LUV American Style, and he’s been an active member ever since. JOSHUA POLK (Hood Locker), entertainer, educator, and innovator, is the embodiment of the modern hip hop artist: a student of the culture, an advocate for the preservation of the culture, and in the vernacular of the times, ‘a sick-wit-it’ dancer! A performer in high demand, Polk has graced the stages of The Victory Theater in New York City and the African American Museum in Philadelphia, and he is a consistent performer at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City and a guest performer on BET’s 106 & Park. As a keeper of the flame, he’s lectured at high schools, colleges, summer camps, and afterschool programs. When Polk dances, the showmanship of iconic performers such as Stump & Stumpy, Sammy Davis Jr., and James Brown comes to mind. He dances with his spirit, he dances like no one is watching and he dances for life!


ABOUT THE ARTISTS ANDREW RAMSEY (Hood Locker) is the co-founder of The Hood Lockers, a funkstyle crew based out of Philadelphia/New Jersey and a member of Phresh Select Dance Crew of MTV’s Randy Jackson presents America’s Best Dance Crew. He’s trained for 15 years with some of the world leaders, originators, and pioneers of street dance specializing in hip hop, funk styles, and house dance (involves a mixture of locking, breakdance, popping, and hip hop). Ramsey has worked with artists such as Nas, Madonna, Asher Roth, and Nick Cannon, and appeared on BET’s 106 & Park, SYTYCD, and six of ABC’s Visions. He is currently working with Philadelphia’s own, world-renowned Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater. MARCUS TUCKER (Hood Locker), aka “Epic,” has toured Europe with Kompany Malikhi's Hip-Hop story, directed and performed in his own creation, Heroes, became a member of Funkstylerz UK, and performed with UK sensation Pixie Lott. He created his own dance company, Face da Phlave Entertainment, with Andrew Ramsey and Kenneth Thomas and got to fulfill his dream of performing with the world’s leading street dance theatre company, Rennie Harris Puremovement American Street Dance Theater. Now, an active member of RHPM, he was recently hired to perform for Madonna's private parties and events. Marcus Tucker choreographed for So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia and judged five seasons of Astro's Battleground, Malaysia's first hip hop TV show. He’s collaborated and danced with Malaysian pop star Mizz Nina, Colby O'Donnis, Flo Rida, Taboo of Black Eyed Peas, KPOP superstar Jay Park, Melissa Indot, Dennis Lau, Chris Willis, Yalonda Be Cool, and Havana Brown.
