From The Guardian … read here:

Hate is dangerous; using hate as a political tactic is immoral.

The US is a nation built on diversity.

Voters are 20x more likely to listen to someone they know.

FFAN Conversations

Each of us needs to be having conversations with friends, family, associates and neighbors … not only to win the election but to bring us back together.

Trump isn’t the problem, HATE is. He just uses it to divide us.

What we do today builds

If he’ll bully a 90year old woman in Scotland, he’ll do it to us. He’s only interested in himself.

The film the Trump Organization tried to suppress

Character matters. Values matter.

Vote Blue down ballot.

The term “woke” is not new. It gained traction in the mid-20th century as African Americans used it to indicate a sensitivity for how justice was. and was not applied, particularly regarding racial issues. In my personal lexicon, all of this translates to one word: Empathy.

The word “empathy” does not appear in Project 2025.

Be courageous … speak up and fly our flag. jwyco

If everyone did something … In red Oklahoma, 93-year-old Burt Holmes, founder of QuikTrip, put up a billboard urging women to vote Democrat.

Big or small … do something!

How will you be part of this historic election?

Why we’re here (6 min.)

In this short video, Simon tells us how Democrats have helped build a new era based on the Four Freedoms … religion, speech, freedom from want, freedom from fear.

In the past 80 years, literacy rates have tripled, life expectancy has gone from 45 to 71 years, and extreme global poverty has plummeted.

“We’re living in a golden age in human history.” It’s important to remember that the Democratic Party was the major force behind this.

“Hopium” — hope with a plan

Tim Walz: “We’ve got something better to offer the American people: freedom, opportunity, compassion, and fairness.”

Share the hope and joy with friends, family & neighbors.

Robert Reich reports: Kroger now admits it jacked up milk and egg prices above inflation. Millions of shoppers had no choice but to accept it.

This is what happens when five companies dominate over 60% of American grocery sales. Minimal competition means maximized price gouging. Government regulation is important to protect consumers and counter corporate greed. MAGA Project 2025 wants to do away with corporate regulation.

We’re all in this together. And we all break easily.

5 Ways to Volunteer

Try again, JD. Talk and listen with friends, and neighbors.

There’s a pattern here.

Be courageous … yard signs are effective.

Is JOY a good political strategy?

NYT says, “NO.” John Pavlovitz says, “Hell, Yes! Joy is dangerous. It’s wild. It’s subversive. And it’s contagious. Joy trumps fear.” (More)

Turns out JOY is good strategy … especially when it has been in short supply … and the other side has so little of it.

Check your voter registration.

Knowa, 12 year-old influencer/ journalist stands up to broke, raving, incognito convention crasher, MAGA guy, Mike Lindell, aka My Pillow Guy.

Yvette Nicole Brown and her 103 year-old grandmother, a former poll worker whose heart was broken by 2016. But she’s back and newly registered because she wants to vote for Kamala.

Registration is non partisan.

At this little girl’s age, I saw moms, housewives, teachers, nurses, secretaries.

Just imagine what might change with young people everywhere as they get involved with this one election, see this one image.

Are your friends registered?

I keep thinking about an old man who wonders if he’s still hot.

“I asked somebody, was I hotter before or hotter now.”

Indulged with everything, he now faces losing, golden-glitter fading, mortality looming. (more)

Register voters at Church? PTA? Meetings? Parties?

Who does thumbs-up photo ops at a sacred place?

Arlington National Cemetery doesn’t allow filming of political events on cemetery grounds, and they don’t allow commercial photography in Section 60 where families may still be grieving recent losses.

Or at lemonade stands? Sports events?

A reminder

This election is important … all children deserve to be safe and cherished. Our future … and theirs … is on the line.

Voting may not be quite as adorable as this image, but it is equally important.
