DeTails, the ultimate mer tail retail guide

already adopted a beach, but I would like to adopt our entire coast! I would like to eventually purchase a bar with an indoor pool with mermaids swimming in it. I imagine it being bar-height, with clear Plexiglas barstools and sides so that you can sit at the bar top and actually talk to the mermaids, who could swim around and perch on small islands to interact with customers. It would need to be dug down beneath the floor so that it would be deep enough for performances and synchronized swimming. Perhaps it would even have small boats on top that would float by (much like sushi boats) that could bring cocktails out as well as a full-service bar staffed by a few gorgeous ladies, belly dancers and pirates as well. I’d love to have a DJ dance floor and to make it a full-blown mer experience nightclub, but then again I have big crazy dreams. But who doesn’t? I just need the funds… Oh where did I put that chest of sunken treasure again?! I am terrible about misplacing things… everything but my dreams, that is.

People work with you on a variety of levels. What do you want people to take away from their experience with you as a mermaid?

I would like to get back to my roots as a conservational biologist and want to be remembered as more than a pretty face who makes tails. I want to emphasize that this entire lifestyle comes from a love and respect for the ocean. It is more than just looking pretty on the outside, it is about being the total package in my mind. I want the beauty to radiate from within, starting with our ocean mother who gives us life, reflecting it back to humanity so that they can appreciate her more, and ending with a sense of childlike appreciation and wonder at becoming even more a part of her creation.
