SUPERIOR STRINGER EDITION / SSE The Superior Stringer Edition is our most advanced technology specially developed for the performance boards - The SportstAir and the RacAir. We have added a fiber reinforced PVC stringer for the deck and a mirrored size stringer for the bottom to maximize the stiffness. The result is a super stiff technology ready for the ultimate in performance!

- LIGHTER - STIFFER In the past couple of years our inflatable boards have featured the best weight to stiffness ratio on the market. This year we took another huge step forward. It was our goal to develop even lighter and stiffer boards with improved durability. The breakthrough was the pre-lamination process. PRE-LAMINATION Our triple layer Superior Edition and our double layer Light Edition constructions both include the specially developed process of pre-lamination. This high tech process consists of machine-lamination of the multiple layers into a shell that has accurate thickness as well as superior abrasion and stretch properties. Compared to normal double layer boards we have been able to remove the manual glue application from the process and with it the room for error, the excess weight of the glue and the additional health hazards for our workers.

The Superior Edition offers all the technical features of the Superior Stringer edition except for the stringer itself. The boards are therefore extremely durable, light and very stiff.

As the name says it this is our lightest technology. At the same time it is still stiffer than most competition boards and it offers good durability.

This shell is then machine laminated directly onto the 500D Polyester Drop Stitch fabric. To avoid compromise in stiffness of the Light Edition boards we offer them in 6� version only (except Young Gun Air boards).

ALL ROUND – ALL NEW We completely redesigned the AllroundAir line this year. Narrower nose allows for minimal push of the water in the front, resulting in a faster glide with each paddle stroke. The parallel outline ensures great traction and less paddle-hand changes. This also brings another advantage – a wider tail that significantly improves stability of the board. The two sizes will cover the widest range of average

paddler’s needs; from absolute beginners to those taking first white water runs, from beginner surfers to yoga enthusiasts. Choose one of the two models with the windsurfing option to double the potential of these great boards. The AllroundAirs are available in Superior and Light Edition. The CruisAirs are the perfect design for your everyday paddle, touring and fitness. They are an excellent choice for those looking for a faster glide without compromising the stability. For this year we have tweaked the design of this bestseller slightly by adding width to the tail for more stability and improved traction. This fast and stable concept is also available with a windsurfing option to maximize the fun on the water. The CruisAirs are available in Superior and Light Edition. The 11’6”x30” Windsup comes with an additional 10” center fin and a windsurfing mast plug.

YOUNG GUN AIR LE This super fun package fits two great sports into a very light backpack. Due to the extremely light construction the kids will instantly take off whether powered by a sail or a paddle. The board features a new larger center fin to add traction and stability for those first windsurfing steps. New for this year is the 5” thickness of the board that reduces the side-wind influence compared to a 6” version. WHITE WATER ACTION The proven shape of the RivAir has received a tech update for this year. The Superior Edition construction helped us skim down the weight of this white water virtuoso. This has helped us increase the maneuverability of this balanced shape. The standard full deck EVA pad ensures your feet stay in position in the sketchy sections of the most demanding descents.

The proven 4 + 1 fin setup and the 4 grab handles make sure you never fail to hold the board if you fall.The D-ring is placed on top of the nose as a precaution that it does not catch anything through the shallows. 19

EXPANDING FRONTIERS How do you improve a Swiss-Army knife of paddleboards? Add more options and make it lighter! The AdventurAir has learned to windsurf in addition to white water paddling, fishing and touring. We have moved the Scotty mount to the tail of the board and increased the tail width for greater stability. The wide array of bungee straps, D-rings and handles are the standard. The quad setup 20

with four 3� short soft fins is there for those shallow river pockets or white water action. You can add the middle fin for added traction and a center fin for better upwind performance while windsurfing.

THE MONSTROUS SIZE OF A BOARD FOR THE MONSTROUS AMOUNT OF FUN! Paddle boarding is a social sport and when you go paddling with your friends why not on just one board? Actually it is even better to have a few teams racing on a couple of MonstAirs. Team work is crucial to start in-sync paddling. It is a lot of fun in rivers, white water rafting style tours and the surf too.

You can use the 2 rear fins for paddling although the fins are not necessary if you have a couple people paddling on each side. Make sure you don’t put the board on the beach with the fins down as they might break. Remove all fins for paddling in shallow or white water!

Windsurfing on the MonstAir is really a blast! You wouldn’t believe that this humongous thing can get planning and even do planning jibes! Make sure you put all four 10” fins in for a better upwind performance. There are 2 mast plugs for windsurfing rigs. If used with only one rig, attach it in the rear plug. 23

For this year we have continued to update and streamline our Surf range. We have two all new shapes: the 8’1”x28” and the 9’2”x30”. The whole Surf line now has unique features; single to double concave flowing into a V tail, pulled in nose and tail, progressive rocker line and thin rails. All of the sizes in the Surf range are designed for the “no-compromise”, top to bottom performance in the proper surf conditions for riders of all sizes.

The Wood Edition and the AST Surf boards come with standard - US box thruster set up. The PRO and WE boards come with an FCS plug in the nose to attach your GoPro camera. All the boards come with a mastfoot insert to attach a windsurf rig. We have added a centered pad arch to all the PRO and WE Surf boards to enhance the grip and foot positioning.

All of the PRO boards come with a 5 fin setup option and 3 fins. The smaller sizes from 7’2” through to 8’6” all come with 3 FCS plugs for the center fin position instead of the US box to keep the weight down to a minimum. The 3 plugs provide 2 center fin position options and the boards come with a RTM thruster fin set. The 8’10”, 9’2” and the 9’6” have the 5 fin option with the US box for the center fin to be able to

The PRO layup of our SURF boards has no carbon as we believe that carbon makes the boards too stiff for the surf. You wouldn’t take a carbon road bike to do a downhill run would you? We have kept a natural flex pattern with strategic dual density sandwich layup and optimized fiber direction. Importantly, our PRO boards are the lightest boards on the market that come with a deck pad.

LIGHTNING FAST The super parallel outline of the Surf Slates creates unbelievable speed while at the same time provides generous stability. The short length ensures lightning fast reaction and allows the boards to fit into any size of wave. Use the extra speed to glide across flat sections of the wave or to hit the lip with full power. The double diamond tail allows for instant acceleration and a good amount of drive off the bottom. The tail releases very easily when busting the fins out. The foot positioning at the tail is crucial for best performance and that is why we added a centered pad arch. The chopped off diamond nose is equipped with a soft channel in the center with bevels on each side for a forgiving “no pearling” entry. This flows into a single concave bottom towards the tail channel for a smooth lift and release. The Surf Slates are more suited to sliding, whippy 30

turns and aerials under a breaking lip, rather than traditional surfing consisting of big carves out on the open face. The boards perform perfect in smaller, sloped surf rather than a large steep wall. A seriously good addition to any quiver. For this year we have added a 8’0”x30” available both in PRO and Wood Edition. The boards feature a 5 fin option and come with a RTM thruster set-up. The whole range comes with an FCS plug in the nose to attach your GoPro camera.

The thin rails hold the turn smoothly and the slightly flatter rocker line generates a lot of speed. Last year we have updated the two smaller sizes and this year we followed up with the updated shapes for the 8’8” and the 9’3”. The entire line features slightly pulled in nose and a squash tail for a quicker release.

The stability combined with unbelievable turning potential is still the main characteristic of this progressive shape concept. The PRO boards have 3 FCS center fin plugs in addition to the standard quad set-up. Try them in a Thruster set up for the bigger days or even as a Nubster set up. The boards come with a quad fin set.

THEY LOVE THE WAVES The combination of a surf board outline, subtly curved rocker line and generous volume thinned out on the rails through a step deck is a winning concept that fuses glide and stability with great surfing characteristic. The bottom shapes feature concaves throughout running into a V towards the tail. The V in the tail helps to rail up when going down a wave. Their noses create efficient lift and the thinned out rails produce good bite during turns. The all-new 9’2”x30.5” closes the gap 34

between the 8’5” and the 9’8” and is available in PRO, WE and AST version. The 10’2” and the 10’8” are also available as a Soft Deck version and come in a single fin option while all the other sizes come with a thruster set-up. The FUSIONs have a really good glide and are happy in flat water paddling, but they love the waves.

CLASSIC PERFORMANCE The Longboard line is designed with a full on surf performance in mind. We have an all new 11’6”x31”. All three sizes feature a very subtle step deck and a nicely pulled in tail. The narrow tail, in combination with increased V, makes them very loose and responsive. A flat deck curve gives the rider confidence when paddling and the stability needed to cross the breaking waves. GIRL POWER Venus 8’10’’ is a dedicated surf SUP shape with a narrower nose section, pulled in tail with extra rocker. Towards the back the board has a pulled-in outline with increased V. This board is for the advanced SUP surfer girls who will enjoy the vertical turns and surfboard style ripping that the 8’10” offers! The 9’8” is a surfy-all-round shape that performs equally well in the surf as well as in the directional paddling from light weight beginners to performance surfers. The 10’6” is a classic longboard style board that offers great directional performance as well as the cool and easy first steps in the world of SUP surfing. ALL TERRAIN SPEED Most of the time you will know what to expect from the conditions at a certain race field, yet everything can change rapidly and you could have anything from flat water to grueling “side-wind-through massive chop” conditions or downwind conditions in a matter of minutes. For the ease of mind we created the Race Allwater shapes. These sleek machines are the result of countless number of prototypes, airfreight charges and days on the water of our best racers. Before we decided on the final shapes we locked James Casey, Vinnicius Martins, Peter Bartl and Branislav Sramek on Fuerteventura to find the magic Allwater formula. It features a planning hull design with rounded nose for connecting glides. The bottom transfers into a double concave bottom under the standing area slightly fading into a V tail. The tail became wider and thicker to add stability and planning area when stepping back into a surf stance on a glide. Boards have additional forward leash plug position to prevent feet from getting tangled up with the leash on the tail of the boards.

The 12’6” models need to cater to very different competition formats from beach races to flatwater sprints so the boards must have fast planning surfaces and catch bumps or surf with ease. We reduced the piercing nose and increased the nose scoop. The rolled and wider nose section helps lifting the board onto the plane. Towards the mid-section the bottom shape transform to a single concave. This offers maximum stability with a rail line for great directional stability. Additionally we could lower the standing positon making every paddle stroke more efficient. Towards the wider tail we opened up the concave flowing into a slight V shape for better release and improved ability to surf and steer the board through the waves. Various handle positons round of the complete package for an outstanding race board.

NO COMPROMISES For 2017 we have further developed the entire Race board range. With great input from our international and national race paddlers we have developed two sizes of dedicated flat water shapes for “no compromise” performance in the flat to moderate choppy conditions. The 23” version will best suit racers with up to 85kg while the 25” one will suit racers up to 105kg. The main feature we were trying to achieve is the low standing position without the dug-out cockpits. Werner was able to achieve this by thinning out of the standing position and redistributing the necessary volume to the tail and the nose of the board. Keeping these longitudinal transitions 50

smooth for uncluttered deck movement was as important as keeping the lateral shape streamlined for any side wind effect. The nose rocker was raised slightly to allow a more neutral glide sensation. The narrow nose transforms smoothly into a single concave bottom extending all the way to the tail. This creates a long water line resulting in great linear glide and directional stability. The tail became wider and furnished with more volume. This also dramatically improves stability especially at pivot turning. You get the most of every paddle stroke that gives you the winning edge!
