Dan il-proġett hu ffinanzjat mill-Kummissjoni Ewropea – DĠ Komunikazzjoni u huwa wieħed mill-attivitajiet tal-Pjan Konġunt ta’ Komunikazzjoni bejn il-Gvern ta’ Malta, il-Kummissjoni Ewropea u l-Parlament Ewropew.

Agħżel organizzazzjoni li hija importanti għalik. Hemm organizzazzjonijiet li jaħdmu f’għadd ta’ oqsma differenti. Għal kull skop hemm
organizzazzjoni; mit-teatru sal-isports, l-isptarijiet u x-xelters għall-annimali. Il-volontarjat jista’ jfisser tgħin lill-anzjani jew lir-refuġjati. Meta tagħmel volontarjat huwa importanti li tagħmel xi ħaġa li hija importanti għalik. Fittex organizzazzjoni jew attività qrib tiegħek. Għandek tibda fuq skala żgħira speċjalment jekk diġà għandek xogħol ieħor li jrid isir fil-ħajja tiegħek ta’ kuljum, jew inkella jekk għadek ta’ età żgħira. Sib organizzazzjonijiet li jwettqu xogħol adattat għall-kapaċitajiet u l-interessi tiegħek. Tassew li tista’ tiżviluppa kapaċitajiet ġodda permezz tal-volontarjat, iżda l-volontarjat jista’ jkun xogħol li jaqbel mal-kapaċitajiet li diġà għandek. Tħobb taħdem mannies? Mal-annimali? Mat-tfal? Binnumri? Tħobb titkellem jew tikteb? Jekk inti persuna li tħobb tiltaqa’ ma’ ħafna nies jista’ jkun li ma tantx tieħu gost

2011 hija s-Sena Ewropea talVolontarjat.Tommy u Rosy jiskopru dinja ta’ xogħol volontarju ta’ sodisfazzjon magħġuna fil-ħajja tagħhom ta’ kuljum. Tgħallem kif tagħti daqqa t’id billi tosserva u timita l-esperjenzi li Tommy u Rosy jaqsmu miegħek.

In-nannu jispjega lil Tommy l-kefrija u l-effetti koroh tal-gwerra. Hu jkompli jispjega l-esperjenzi vjolenti u tal-biżà li sabu quddiemhom il-vittmi. Iżda, hu jiddeskrivi s-serħan li kienu jaraw f’għajnejn il-vittmi, meta dawn kienu jkunu megħjuna mill-voluntieri, li kienu jippruvaw idewwulhom il-feriti.
Ha ngħidlek Tommy, dik hija esperjenza li ma ninsieha qatt.
Ix-xogħol volontarju jagħtik is-saħħa li qatt ma kont tobsor li jkollok! Hija sensazzjoni li nħoss in-nuqqas tagħha.

Hilary jdur fuq sħabu tal-klassi u jispjega kif grupp ta’ fiżjoterapisti voluntieri kienu jaħdmu miegħu fil-gym u fil-pool. Hu faħħar l-għajnuna u d-dedikazzjoni tagħhom, għax mingħajrhom qatt ma kien se jkun b’saħħtu kif inhu llum.

And you should have a lovely little lucky star! It may take some practise to get the star to puff out perfectly, but stick with it... you’ll get it! If you are having a lot of trouble, try different papers, or try wrapping the strip of paper around without creasing it too much. This helps a bit!
The goal of this art is to transform a flat sheet of material into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques, and as such the use of cuts or glue are not considered to be origami.
