The main objective is to respond to a multi-functional and versatility of a requested program. In order to respond to the request program we propose modular volumes which with different associations can turn into different functions and spaces. This modular movement is possible by sliding them in rails and the new main structure, within the old market ruins.

The project consists out of a 50 meter tall office structure which will form the new entrance to the green Campus of the UN. Out of the more than 75 entrees the jury selected besides the design of the team of BARCODE Architects & West 8 landscape architects. -participation in the 2nd competition phase. - participation in the facade design studies. - production of 3d images, physical models, design support and presentation. .

Theater Inter-action Jovoto | Berlin competition_2012
The aim of the project is to publicly and creatively discuss the subject of new possibilities of (urban) theater. An interative theater, which pretends to get closer to his audience across city. Producing different relationships between ACTOR and AUDIENCE. Providing new forms of expression where the limit of the action is inside of “box” and outside in city.

A former factory of ceramic insulators for high voltage, the project aims to adapt the whole building to the function of commerce, services, storage and small industry. Improving the existing conditions with 7750.04m ². Using most of the existing structure, it was divided into 136 commercial spaces with distinct areas and a public internal space which allows the access to the different spaces.

Former warehouse with covered area of 468.88 sqm. Project aims to adapt building to the function of 6 independent commercial / services spaces. Division defined by the existent structure and spans. The organization of each space arises from the exterior patio in order to get more sun light. - participation in the conceptual phase up to the fase licensing - production of drawings of architectural project, drawings of design execution, 3d images and models.

Conservation project of a single family house. The project aims to improve the habitability and the comfort of the existing building from 19th century. It provides window and doors frames replacemet, cladding and rehabilitation of degraded areas, requalification of rooms and kitchens. Also includes the reconstruction of small buildings - enclosed constructions which are in a state of ruin. Outwardly, the overall picture of the main building will remain unchanged. Only planned the replacement of existing degraded rooftop on East volume. That will be held in reinforced concrete, keeping the image of the existing rooftop although it has a new balcony.

“Ideal Theatre”. This proposal comes under the international ideas competition launched by the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, Inc. Considering the image of a machine. Formed by different independent mechanisms, their operation depends on the interaction between them. A place to learn theater, characterized as a machine, where the different parts interact to produce a show. Everything that surrounds theater may be presented as a raw material for a final product - the show. An experimental laboratory, where what matters is not only an assembled scene or but to educate. Taking into account the experimental theater principles, the project aims to approach actor and audience, and reality and fiction. Therefore, a theater that bet on revelation as art, experimentation and creative process that can be reveal.

Provide the experience and knowledge of a theatrical machine, revealing its mechanism - the stage, the web, classrooms, workshops, preparation spaces and looking them as part of the show. Show the learning process as a Performance, also dissolve traditional boundaries between actor and spectator. The proposal encourages the viewer to walk through theater suggesting different scenes perceptions, encouraging the an active participation. 23
Multifunction Multifunction building | Oporto academic | 2008 team work: FabĂola Silva, arch.
Located in the historic city center of Porto, based on river Douro gorges, between remarkable city references - the historic bridges. However an inaccessible place due to its steep slope and its soil degradation. The draft consists in shaping volumes, reflecting the site characteristics, in order to direct the gaze through visual axes to the local references: the Luis I Bridge and Infante Bridge. The multifunctional building features a diverse program: an auditorium, exhibition hall, workshops room, bar and restaurant and a common area with public character, a path. The program division was in order of frequency resulting in three separate volumes, connected by a continuous public path, replacing the exterior inaccessible path.
