Simon Balle All-through School Achievement Support Assistant - Science Grade H3 27 hours per week, term time plus one week inset Start date: September 2016 Creating tomorrow’s citizens today Simon Balle All-through School is a forward thinking school combining traditional values with innovative teaching and learning. We provide a broad and balanced education for all our students who are set challenging academic and personal targets and are given the inspiration to succeed. We are looking for an Achievement Support Assistant to join our science department which consists of nine specialist teachers and a team of experienced science technicians. There are eight specialist equipped laboratories and is well resourced. The role will involve supporting students of all abilities with written and practical work. The successful applicant will have good practical, communication and organisational skills ideally with an A level in one of the science subjects or school experience. The ability to work on your own initiative and within a team is essential as is the desire to work with students within a scientific setting. Most importantly the post-holder should want to make a positive difference to students overall achievement and relish the prospect of helping to create tomorrow’s citizens.
