Challenge your perception of work space The work space you choose says a lot about your business. It reflects on you, your values, your vision and your brand. An office should be much more than four walls, desks, computers and a photocopying machine. What your office looks and feels like plays a massive part in why people will want to do business with you or indeed work for you. Your office should act as inspiration for your business and a place where you can meet and win new customers. We've set ourselves a challenge to improve the workplace and reinvent this Bruntwood building at the junction of Deansgate and Quay Street. We're going to change the way you think about the traditional office environment and our aim is to deliver the kind of innovative space where you and your people can do incredible work.

Fresh ideas The reinvention of Deansgate&Quay doesn't stop at the tree lined yard to the rear of the building that houses your very own basketball shooting key. We're reconfiguring the ground floor of this 52,000 sq ft building and giving it a completely new branded entrance and reception to maximise the arrival experience for your staff and visitors.

A sense of arrival Inspired by New York City, this CGI shows the proposed reception scheme at Deansgate&Quay featuring polished concrete, pendant lighting and contemporary furniture. The building will be comprehensively redeveloped using the existing structure to create state of the art facilities that offer unique, contemporary office space in the heart of Manchester.

Inspirational work space We realise of course that it's easy to talk about challenging the conventional office environment and that there are some features of your current office layout that you might want to keep. The generous 8,600 sq ft floor plates at Deansgate&Quay mean you have the flexibility to create an environment that works for you. Deansgate&Quay will offer high speed internet access, new floor to ceiling glazing, air conditioning, exposed ceilings, polished concrete, timber and natural finishes. With a modern, stripped back design it offers you the opportunity to make your mark on the space and realise your workplace aspirations.

Work play We all need some time away from our desk so if you’re bored of shopping, cafes or gym visits at lunchtime then Deansgate&Quay offers an alternative, basketball.

Nestled behind the building in a quiet courtyard away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we have our very own basketball courtyard. So if you fancy shooting some hoops over your lunchtime break or perhaps want to undertake some more serious competitions with your work colleagues, then Deansgate&Quay offers something unique for Manchester city centre workers. To add to this, for those that are serious about their fitness, Deansgate&Quay is within striking distance of a 'Lifestyle

Fitness' gym in the Great Northern Warehouse, a Pure Gym in Spinningfields and for Bradley Wiggins wannabes a Pinarello shop round the corner. At Bruntwood we understand staff who cycle to work need the appropriate facilities to make this happen. A new cycle hub would be provided with secure storage and shower/ changing facilities.

Designed to inspire When it comes to your work space, first impressions count and this doesn’t just apply to the creative sector or companies with clients who pay a visit from time to time.

But it’s not all about image. How your staff feel about their work space is also crucial. Your staff are your brand ambassadors and a bright, vibrant and creative environment can also help inspire and boost productivity. The office is also a place for you to showcase your corporate culture and live out your brand – a concept that is all too often overlooked. To help you make the space distinctively your own, we openly encourage a collaborative approach to the design of your office. We want you to view the work space not as something to be taken ‘off the-shelf’ but more as a ‘blank canvas’ for you to turn your ideas of the perfect office into a reality.
