CAREER OPPORTUNITY JPS seeks an experienced and accomplished telecommunications professional to fill the position of:

Manager, Electronics & Communication Systems POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Director - Information Technology, the incumbent will be responsible for the development, operations and maintenance of the infrastructure and systems supporting the telecommunications services critical to the company's operations. The incumbent is also expected to provide leadership which ensures the delivery of high quality services, builds trust, teamwork, and alignment across the organization. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Management and operation of the systems used to support the following: • Voice Telecommunication and Call Centre Systems • Radio and Microwave services on public and private networks • IP based Data communication services • Control circuits for SCADA 2. Conducting strategic research, development, planning and implementation of systems to support future services 3. Provide tier 2 technical support for all telecommunication trouble tickets ensuring responses meet defined service levels 4. Management of vendor and service provider relationships locally and overseas MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • First degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Sciences • Post graduate qualifications/professional certification in Telecommunications • Ten (10) years’ experience in design, management or operations of a telecommunications network • Successful track record of project delivery • Capability to implement innovative and cost-effective measures related to all operational and support areas of the business • Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of related strategic plans and budgets • Excellent customer focus and business acumen supporting the delivery of operational and support services REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

SPECIAL CONDITION The position holder will be required to periodically travel island wide and overseas.
