Senior Project Analyst Strategy Division - Head Office Position Summary The incumbent is required to play a leadership role in developing and maintaining an effective corporate performance management framework that ensures alignment of projects with corporate strategic objectives. The framework should include: robust project evaluation and selection process, maintenance of corporate project management methodology and standards including effective planning, implementation and reporting, and project monitoring and post implementation reviews. Minimum requirements BSc. Degree in Business Administration or, Information Technology or Engineering Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM) or similar certification Six (6) sigma certification or training would be an asset Mastery of Microsoft Office and in particular use of excel at an advanced level Knowledge of research and statistical techniques Knowledge of the Electricity and Energy markets would be an asset A minimum of five (5) years project management experience
Major Duties Implements and maintains consistent project management process and methodology. Disseminates Company's project management standards within the company and monitors for adherence. Manages the technical and financial evaluation of project proposals to ensure that the company pursues the best options for capital and other project investments. Manages and monitors issues, risks, costs, resources, quality, time, benefit and changes for all capital projects. Supports project managers across the company by mentoring and providing project management guidance. Conducts assessment on projects in progress and on completion, to determine the effectiveness of project implementation
