Black Sand Beach Tuesday, August 22 • Rating:  The water is rather dark almost tea colored all year round because of the unique black sand. This is a cool hike on the windward side of the island. We will follow the winding coast of the bay until we reach the cove just before the mouth of the bay.

Starts August 1. This is a year-long incentive program. Open to all with base access. FREE! This challenge brings the colossal size B-52 Stratofortress and the fighter jet F-15 from the flightline into the weight room! Participants will be required to benchpress either the weight of the B-52 (185,000 pounds) or the F-15 (68,000 pounds). Prizes will be granted after approval of weight logs by Coral Reef Fitness Center staff members. Members must bench press using either the dumbells or the bar only to earn points. No squating or deadlifting will be accepted. Weight benched must be logged in after every workout. The challenge will be tracked and based on the integrity system.

N.A.Y.S. START SMART BASKETBALL & GENERAL SPORTS DEVELOPMENT

Registration: July 17 - August 4 • FREE • Ages 3 - 5 The N.A.Y.S. Start Smart Basketball and General Sports Development programs will run for six weeks, August 8 to September 13 at the Andersen Youth Center Gym and will meet Tuesdays 9 am to 10 am or Wednesday 2 pm to 3 pm. There will be a mandatory parent/child meeting on August 8 and 9 at the Andersen Youth Center Gym. Parent participation is mandatory.
