Navy Child & Youth Programs offer Give Parents a Break (GPAB) events every month. These events are available at $5 per hour to all individuals who are registered with Child & Youth Programs and have attended the mandatory parent orientation. There is a 24hour cancellation fee of $15. Open to parents with children 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Available for just $5 per hour.

Volunteers are essential to the Child & Youth Programs (CYP) Youth Sports & Fitness (YSF) mission. With the focus on youth development, healthy-living and social responsibility, YSF volunteers are key to the success of the program. The YSF Program offers a variety of individual and team sports year round. Our YSF Coordinators are always looking for energetic and enthusiastic adults who can serve as a positive role model for youth. Volunteers will spend time teaching specialized sport speciďŹ c techniques, help develop skills, and encourage the importance of teamwork and conďŹ dence. LIBERTY MWR’s Liberty Program is your ticket to explore Guam! The program offers the opportunity to participate in fun and innovative adventures for all single, unaccompanied military members and their guests in an alcohol and tobacco-free environment. Liberty Program organizes onbase and off-base activities like hiking to some of Guam’s most beautiful waterfalls, bowling nights, various tournaments, island trips, sporting events, local community volunteer projects, cooking classes and much more. As well as offering a variety of Liberty programs and events each month, eligible service members can also enjoy their leisure time by just hanging out in the NBG recreation center, which offers free Wi-Fi and computers, video games- XBOX One, PS4, XBOX 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii and Switch with a variety of games. SEWING/QUILTING CLASS (WEEK 1)
November 2, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. $75 per person; covers 4-part instructions only In this class you'll learn basic sewing skills, sewing machine & tool basics, practice sewing & nesting seams (fabric will be provided for practice), select and arrange charm pack layout. Students must bring personal sewing machine, needles, bobbins, small scissors, pins and thread. Arts & Crafts has (3) sewing machines for students who do not have sewing machines. *Fabric requirements (by second week of class): ¾ yard for small border and binding, ½ yard for wide border, 1 ½ yard for backing, 44"x48" piece of batting.

SPORTS & FITNESS AVAILABLE SERVICES I BENCHED A B-52 Coral Reef Fitness Center, Andersen Air Force Base This challenge brings the colossal size B-52 Stratofortress and the fighter jet F-15 from the flightline into the weight room! Participants will be required to benchpress either the weight of the B-52 (cumulative 185,000 pounds) or the F-15 (cumulative 68,000 pounds). Prizes will be granted after approval of weight logs by Coral Reef Fitness Center staff members. Members must bench press using either the dumbbells or the bar only to earn points. No squatting or deadlifting will be accepted. Weight benched must be logged in after every workout. The challenge will be tracked and based on the integrity system.
