+GIS PRIMITIVE CAMPSITES STUDY Indiana Dunes National park
Floodplain Analysis Survey Picture locations Minimum Flood hazard Flood hazard
The intent of this study was to process and analize Global Information System data to locate and pinpoint site or sites for camping within the Indiana National Dunes. Information, images, sitte surveying, and more were factored in through a month's processs of determining the best potential site location to host new campsites. Since becoming a National park the Indiana Dunes has been overwhelmed with visitors ranging across the nation. Due to the populatrity of becoming a national park, the dune's current campsites do not withstand the demand that the park recieves annually.
