Now in its fifth year, Skipton Open Studios 2012 kicks off on Friday 22 June with an exhibition at Weighbridge Place, St Helier. Twelve shipping containers will be lowered into place and transformed into an art installation, gallery and workshop for Jersey’s leading artists. Hands-on workshops include container painting, paper making, stonemasonry, print making, needle turning and photography. There will also be details of further workshops, courses, open studios and arts events throughout the coming year.
