About Sertoma: Sertoma International is an organization composed of businesses, self-employed, agricultural, professional and related commercial interest people knit together in the bonds of personal friendship and united by the concept of service to mankind and their communities. We invite you to join our club which serves this community. Joining Sertoma means giving of yourself, having fun, being with friends, and gives you a great feeling! Our club meets each Thursday at noon for one hour at the Sertoma Center located at 225 S. Rowe in Pryor. Quarterly dues are $100 which also pays for meeting lunches.

Being Miss Pryor 2013 has changed my life. It has taught me to be a positive influence to others. I feel very blessed to have been a part of such a humbling experience. I love spending hours on Pinterest and attempting many projects. This fall I plan to attend Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, where I will pursue a degree in pre-medical imaging and radiology. I hope to one day become a radiology assistant. I loved being a part of Mr. Pryor, drawing tickets for the Sertoma Charity Dinner, speaking at two D.A.R.E. graduation ceremonies and judging the annual Halloween Costume Contest at Robert’s Auto Center. The most rewarding activity I participated in was the underprivileged children’s shopping spree, where a 7 year old girl realized she wanted to try harder in school to become Miss

Pryor just like me one day. I would like to thank my parents as well as the rest of my family and friends for all the help and support they have given me throughout this journey. Thank you Jennifer Back, Paula Moore, Mike and Becky Orange, and the Sertoma Club for everything they do for Miss Pryor. I feel very blessed to have a scholarship in honor of such an amazing woman, Brooke Haley. Thank you Haley Family. Most of all, I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity and giving the talents and abilities that I have. Good luck to the Miss Pryor 2014 contestants!

Jordan Bryant Jordan is the son of Jim and Julie Bryant. He’s a Junior and plans on going to The College of the Ozarks to become a nurse. He is a Bass in the choir and plays the Bassoon in the band. Jordan is also part of the Pryor Color Guard. He’s made all-state choir for four years in a row and all-district for the past five years. For the last four years Jordan has been working at a farm and enjoys that work. He plays piano in his free time and loves to practice for his youth
praise band. He works at the SEED tutoring program at Pryor First Baptist Church tutoring kids from elementary to 7th grade. An interesting fact about Jordan is that he did not learn how to play the piano until the 9th grade. He’s thankful for his friends and how they’ve been such a great encouragement to his life. He loves his parents very much and strives to make good grades and to make them proud.

s r o b Neigh While this year's pageant may have many firsts, one familiar feature will be our emcee, Scott Neighbors, who will be saying. "and the winner is" for the 21st consecutive time in this year's pageant. For nearly two decades he was a part of the Pryor community as First Baptist Pryor's Youth Pastor, as well as a member and officer of the Pryor Area Chamber of Commerce, the Pryor Board of Education and a founding member and president of the Pryor Creek Optimists Club. In addition to his local roles, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma (BGCO) and Vice-President for Revenue Generation for the Heartland Affiliate of the American Heart Association. He has also been a writer and clinician on the state and national levels for both the BGCO and Southern Baptist Convention. In 2003 he returned to his "other hometown" of Skiatook, where he serves First Baptist Skiatook as Pastor of Worship and Discipleship, and continues his volunteerism. He just completed his 6th term as president of the Skiatook Chamber of Commerce and serves on many community advisory boards and committees. In 2013 he was elected to a second three year term on the Board of Trustees at Oklahoma Baptist University. He also serves on the boards of

Now Go Ministries and Spring Valley Ranch Ministries. In his "spare time" he is involved in the Singing Churchmen of Oklahoma (SCM) as a singer and percussionist and is currently their President-elect. Scott has traveled with the SCM across the state and on mission trips to Australia, Israel and Armenia. Last month the choir performed concerts and served in Moscow and at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Scott’s wife of 36 years, Carol, still teaches piano to students in Skiatook and Claremore, and they are the proud parents of former Miss Pryor contestant, Megan Poole, who resides in Foley, MO with her husband Brian. The Pooles are the parents of Gabe (6) and Silas (8), who are the pride and joy of “Grammy” and “That Man.”
