Juan Llibre

I have traveled to over 60 countries and lived for over 1 year in at least 8 of them. That has given me a perspective on life which has been quite useful. Two of the things I am most proud of is having had the amazing opportunity to be the Dean of Computer Sciences at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña in Santo Domingo and of having been a Microsoft MVP for 12 years. The university job afforded me the chance to try to give a helping hand to hundreds of very bright kids who only needed their eyes opened a bit, and having been an MVP for 12 years was like getting a PhD in computing every year for 12 years. The most important "accomplishment" (not sure whether that category applies) I am most proud of is having the incredible karma to have 3 lovely, bright, daughters -all of whom I will cherish to my last breath.
