Cliff Coleman

Lives in Berkeley. Cliff travels around the world doing slide clinics teaching his famous Coleman slide. Rode for team Hobie in the 1960’s is a former Yo-Yo Champ. In 2000 Coleman won The National Achievement Award at the US National Yo-Yo Museum during the US National Yo-Yo Contest for his efforts to improve and positively influences the sport and the industry of yo-yoing.

JK or John Krisik

Photographer and found of Croakies in 1977 lives in Jackson Hole. Use to live in Santa Cruz and was the Santa Cruz Skateboard team manager. He found Steve Olson. Former Downhill and Slalom and started FCR Slalom Series with Jack Smith and Don O’Shei in 2002. Won’t be at the movie.

Michael “Smiley”Goldman

Downhill, slalom, and still skateboards more than anyone I know. His son is Jamie Goldman world class bike rider, rides for Santa Cruz Bikes (owned by Richard Novak and Rob Roskopp)

Jack Smith

Runs the Morro Bay Skate Museum. Holds the world record for most times skating across the USA n 1984 Paul Dunn, Bob Denike (president of NHS), Gary Fluitt & Jack broke the world skateboard distance record by skating across America in 26 days, six days faster than the first transcontinental skateboard crossing in 1976.

John “The Hut” Hutson known for Jamie Hart Rich Novak

NHS Novak, Doug Haut and Jay Shuirman original founders of Santa Cruz Skateboards.

Lives in Sacramento. Still downhill and slalom races. Was the guy in the Capitola and Catalina Classic posters created by Jim Phillips. His win at the Catalina Classic event netted his own bubblegum card from General Mills, which was capitalizing on the 1970s skateboarding craze via trading cards.
