The Source stands as a truly unique organization in Indian River County, offering a one-stop-shop model that provides comprehensive resources and programs for individuals in need. Our creative and unique approach ensures that members have access to a wide array of services under one roof, addressing both immediate and long-term needs.
We offer basic essentials such as: free overnight stays offered over 2,800 times to specialized resources like 2557 rides to doctors appointments or job interviews, laundry services (benefiting 182 members), and unique offerings like smoking cessation programs (serving 131 members).
With over 19,000 resources provided in a single year, we deliver practical assistance and empowerment through innovative programs. For example, our members not only receive physical support, such as access to bicycles, mail services, and movie tickets, but also gain opportunities for transformation, such as accredited hospitality training through Dignity Hospitality Our holistic services ensure that individuals experiencing homelessness or hardship can access all the tools they need to rebuild their lives in one convenient and supportive space
The Source’s commitment to a comprehensive service model sets us apart as a leader in community support, combining compassion with actionable solutions to foster dignity and self-sufficiency among our members.

“I was able to go from homeless to a student of Dining with Dignity to one of The Source’s food truck operators to housed, and finally employed full-time at Captain Hirams. I am so thankful.”
