Emotional Intelligence
Reflections •
Are you effective? Can you change things?
•
Face your fears. Fear truly has a direct impact on your ability to tap into your EI, to be creative and to be productive. This is an uncertain world. Write down your three greatest fears.
•
Think of a time you dealt with a setback. How did you do that?
•
Make a list of the negative emotions you are carrying. Where in your body are you holding them? What do they look like? Picture yourself taking hold of that emotion, and examining it. Ask that negative emotion what it is trying to tell you and what you should be learning from it. Then deal with it by blending it into new emotions or by letting it float away or crumbling it up. After feeling the release, replace it with a desired emotion.

Keynote Speaker, Author, Coach and Consultant Contemporary research has proven that happiness and success – in work and in personal relationships - depends more on Emotional Intelligence (EI) than on IQ. You can build your EI and put the creative power of your emotions to work for you by recognizing and overcoming self-imposed obstacles to growth, understanding and managing your feelings, and choosing how you respond to the emotions that motivate others. Developing your EI will enable you to achieve your full potential as an organizational team player, individual, family member, and active member of the community. Raising your EI can help you: • Deal ethically during chaotic and turbulent times • Improve and guide your thinking • Identify your life’s work and express your individuality • Stay calm in times of crisis • Achieve mental and physical well-being • Build and sustain meaningful relationships • Become a more effective and inspiring leader
