- I recently returned to tertiary studies to continuously improve myself and completed a Master of Design Innovation & Technology. As part of my studies, I successfully completed group and individual projects, where I achieved a HIGH DISTINCTION average across all my subjects. This underlines my readiness to step into a new role, knowing I have a robust appreciation of contemporary tools, processes, standards and regulations used within the Australian Industry. - My Master’s Project, AEGIS has won several accolades, and was picked up as a Finalist representing RMIT University at the Bio-Design Challenge 2020, New York. Aegis has also won the ‘Best project in the student category for the 2020-2021 Victorian Premier’s Design Awards. The formal recognition of my work is a testimony to my genuine passion and interest for
- I also possess 2+ years’ real world experience. Currently, I work as an architect at ‘Detail 9 Architects’ a boutique architecture firm which is based in Canterbury, VIC. After successfully completing my Masters of Design Innovation & Technology, (where I won an award for academic excellence), I entered the workforce as a Graduate Architect for Bureau UA, NSW, Australia. I handled residential and commercial projects throughout the entire project design development stage. This experience complements my other experience working as a Project architect at Deepak Apte & Associates, Junior Architect for APA Studio and as a Summer Intern for SK Architects. - I possess excellent skills using AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit and Rhino to perform design work alongside other applications- MS Office 365, Adobe Design Suite and other rendering programs. I have used these programs as part of my work and award-winning studies, underlining my job-ready capabilities. Overall, I hope to impress upon company decision makers that my “duality” as a commercially-minded and technical-proficient Architecture Graduate sets me apart as an excellent investment who is ready to grow with the brand.

THORTON WEEKEND HAVEN | THORTON Detail 9 Architects | 2022
Nestled in the Victoria bush landscape, less than 2 hours from Melbourne is the ideal location for a country weekend retreat. Our clients’ brief was simple, a weekend haven, low-maintenance, with the ability to accommodate guests when needed. Collaborating with our clients, interior designer Mardi Doherty and landscape designer Jela Ivankovic-Waters was key to delivering this beautiful home, which sits thoughtfully within its idyllic bush setting.
Page 4 | Portfolio
The site had its challenges, being set amongst rolling hills. The home is cut into the hillside and designed as three separate pavilions linked by floating glazed bridges. Builder, Hedger Constructions expertly managed the construction, working with the consultant team to successfully deliver the clients’ vision.
Portfolio | Page 5
Jui Apte | 2022
An expansive deck links the pavilions and provides a generous outdoor space, connecting the beautiful garden to the home, a key element for our clients.

BARKLY STREET ARCADE | ARARAT Detail 9 Architects | 2022
The Ararat rural council has come up with a project of refurbishing the Barkly st Arcade in Ararat to create a spill out space for the commerce movement in the area. The design of the arcade is a careful amalgamation of consciously designed table seatings, revamping the roof structure & creating a transition space for the workers around the area. The arcade features the following 1. Arcade roof covered with vines to cover up the ‘not so good looking’ form of the roof.
Page 10 | Portfolio
2. Seatings of different form – like the one we discussed the other day – planter, conc/wooden seating. A central seating placed on equal intervals that provides for table seating with embedded greens & wastebins 3. Planters hanging from the walls on either sides keeping the light box positions in mind. 4. Patches of rainwater absorbing bluestone pavement with a little of hard & soft landscape elements like sand, pebbles and desert bush plants. 5. LED vintage style festoon lights hanging from the roof throughout the arcade for night light up

TAYLOR BAY HOUSE | VICTORIA Detail 9 Architects | 2022
Our clients were keen to upgrade their dated mid-century home to reflect modern family life, whilst retaining the character of the architecture. The site provided quite the challenge, it has beautiful sweeping views across the outer east of Melbourne, however it is very steep.
Page 16 | Portfolio
The house also had several entry points, however no real sense of a focal point ‘front door’. One of the key goals was to improve access from the driveway to a formal front entry. More living space for growing children and guest accommodation for overseas visitors were also on the wish list.

THE NEED FOR REWILDING Masters Thesis Project - 2020
With more than one million described extant species, insects are the most diversified animal taxa on the planet. Through their capacity to pollinate flowers, transform biomass, regulate pest populations, recycle nutrients, disperse seeds, and provide food, insects are arguably Earth’s most important contributors of biodiversity. While insects lie on the bottom of the food chain humans will cease to exist if insects disappear. However rapid urbanisation has caused a threat to the less dominant species and there is an urgent need to reorient the way humans relate to each other and to the other species.
“The Need for Rewilding” aims to act as a catalyst in creating a space for engagement with nature and other non-human species in an otherwise hostile urban landscape and to provide ecological and educational experience for humans by letting them reconnect with nature. It intents on creating a concept of urban voids that can be used as an impetus for the revitalisation of environment and ecosystems.

LE PONDICHERRY BLUES Bachelor Thesis project - 2017
India is one of the largest peninsulas in the world with water surrounding it from 3 sides -The Arabian Sea to the west, Indian Ocean to the south and Bay of Bengal to the east. The country has a coastline of 7500km. With such a huge amount of water comes the rich marine life thats hidden in the depths of the oceans. Urbanisation and progressive developent
has caused a lot of ill effects on the ocean waters, one majorly being ocean dumping.
Page 92 | Portfolio
The factory effluents, garbage is being dumped in the water directy without treating. This has led to the reduction of dissolved oxygen content necessary for marine life. Many a species are near extinction or have become extinct. Le Pondicherry blues is an attempt to be a small contribution towards preserving the marine life and evoking importance of its conservation to the visitors.

Aegis is designing an innovative isolation gown along with an integrated system of medical waste disposal. The gown is made of a newly developed biotextile consisting of woven fibres and starch-based biopolymers, protecting wearers without costing the environment. The collection and anaerobic digestion of used gowns could then partially power both
