ABOUT MK SOUND At MK Sound, we design loudspeakers to sound inherently right, making them universal tools, equally adept with any style of music or movie soundtrack, in stereo or surround. The inherent rightness of our products – call it accuracy, precision, naturalness, realism – breaks down the barriers that otherwise exist between professional and consumer audio, as we create loudspeakers free from the analytical brutality of typical studio monitors that make listening feel like work and equally free from the euphonic colorations of typical domestic speakers that introduce a boring sameness to recorded sound. Our philosophy is that the only truly worthwhile listening experience is one that transports you to the site of the original acoustic event with absolutely minimal loss, addition or distortion. This is why our speakers are designed as a conduit to allow you to hear exactly what the performers and recording engineers heard, no more and no less. As a company founded on audiophile recording and High End loudspeaker design, the basis for all MK design work throughout three and a half decades has always been that a good loudspeaker must accurately and realistically reproduce the original acoustic event, whether the source is a human voice, a musical instrument, an explosion or a gentle breeze caressing the leaves of a tree. Naturally, this must include the acoustical ambiance of the space in which the source was recorded. A Commitment to Excellence For more than three decades, Miller & Kreisel has been the standard bearer in speakers for music and motion picture sound in the studio and in the home. Because our emphasis has always been exclusively on accurate reproduction that maintains the full integrity of the original recorded signal, M&K has developed a fiercely loyal following both among professional users and music and cinema enthusiasts.

Under the MK Sound banner, veteran members of the M&K Professional team joined forces in 2007 to keep the legend alive with a clear and focused vision to maintain and improve the high standard of the products and their presence in the global marketplace. Along with newly recruited expertise, the MK Sound team includes Individuals closely associated with the brand for many years, to ensure continuity and consistency as we strive to enhance the distinct identity and high profile of the brand. We are all dedicated audiophiles with a passion for the art and science of high quality sound reproduction. With staff on three continents, MK Sound represents a serious investment in and commitment to research and development and quality assurance. Believe everything you hear, but only if you’re hearing it on MK Sound loudspeakers!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING “You can’t pin down MK as a rock speaker or a pop speaker. It’s just a great sounding speaker.” - Kevin Churko, Hideout Studio, Las Vegas MK Sound 950 THX Select system: “They have the classic attributes that make MK’s so popular in studios—precise imaging, fast transient response, and an open soundstage.” - Hometheaterhifi.com “For the most part, we use a home theater–type 5.1 system with THX-approved MK MPS-150 speakers and the MPS-350 subwoofer. It’s the same system Skywalker, Sony, Warner, and, of course, Disney use.” - Home Theater, USA

WHEN ONLY REALITY WILL DO The world’s most eminent musicians, singers, musicians, producers, directors and engineers working in hundreds of film, broadcast and postproduction studios worldwide, choose MK Sound loudspeakers to create motion pictures for cinema, Blu-ray and DVD, music for CD, download, Blu-ray and DVD, as well as programs for television and radio. And doesn’t it make sense to listen the same way at home as the artists and engineers who create the world’s music and movies? Here is just a handful of the many projects that chose MK Sound: 1993 Dolby Labs for development and first demonstrations of Dolby Digital audio format 1998 NASA for live presentation of the historic John Glenn space shuttle flight 1999 Chace Productions for restoration and remastering of two of American cinema's most beloved films, Gone With The Wind and The Wizard Of Oz Since 2001 Academy Award winning sound production for films including Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, Chicago, Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, The Incredibles, King Kong 1999-2005 Lucasfilm for sound production on the new Star Wars Trilogy 2002 Five-time Academy Award winner Ben Burtt for Luscasfilm’s sound design studio at Skywalker Ranch 2002 International superstar George Michael for his home recording studio 2006 The Blu-Ray Disc Association for the CES introduction of high definition video and audio for the home 2011 The New York Philharmonic Orchestra, DaCapo records and production company Timbre Music for a five-year collaboration on the recording of the complete Carl Nielsen symphonies.

AS USED BY GEORGE LUCAS Cinema legend George Lucas, who gave the world such legendary entertainment as Star Wars and Indiana Jones, returns with his first new project in many years. After staging more than his share of aerial dogfights in six Star Wars movies, George Lucas will be pitting warplanes of a far more realistic variety against each other in his latest project, Red Tails. Filming took place in and around Prague on this Lucasfilm production based on the true story of an all-black American World War II fighter pilot squadron known as the Tuskegee Airmen. Producer George Lucas on the set of Red Tails in the Czech Republic. Red Tails takes its title from the distinctive decoration of the squadron’s planes and will be the first Lucasfilm production in nearly two decades that is not related to the Star Wars or Indiana Jones franchises. As is now almost standard operating procedure for Lucasfilm productions (including the latest Star Wars trilogy), an MK Sound S150/MX350 system was selected for use in the on-location screening room during overseas filming in order to ensure that the material sent home to Skywalker Ranch was of the highest quality. Remember, when Red Tails hits screens worldwide in January 2012, that the inspirational dialogue and full-throated roar of the fighter planes were made possible by MK Sound.

ABOUT GOLDEN EAR In the summer of 2010, Sandy Gross, co-founder of two of the most successful speaker lines in the history of the audio industry, announced the launch of a new loudspeaker company, GoldenEar Technology. “Speaker design is what we’ve done all our lives; we love it and are really good at it. In almost every case, the creative entrepreneurial founders of the industry’s major loudspeaker companies have left, and their companies are now owned by private equity firms or are part of large conglomerates. We wanted to bring back the combination of entrepreneurial spirit and passion for incredible sound which has always driven this business and helped to create the great speaker companies of the past.” The GoldenEar Technology line embodies revolutionary engineering breakthroughs, while adhering to the standards of superb sonic performance, elegant styling and exceptional value that Sandy and his design partners have always used as their personal design benchmarks. GoldenEar’s recipe for success is simple: the best products offered only by the best specialty dealers and custom installers -those who share our enthusiasm for great sound and great value. GoldenEar’s initial product are extremely focused and highly targeted to appeal to discerning buyers who are looking for something more exciting and clearly more desirable than homogenized, mass-market products that have overtaken the speaker market...

Initial response confirms that GoldenEar, Gross’s third company, is clearly destined for greatness. Preliminary press comment has been extremely enthusiastic. Darryl Wilkinson of Home Theater Magazine writes, ”What we saw was elegant, affordable and had all the makings of another blockbuster line.” In Sound & Vision Magazine, whose reviewers have often praised the fruits of Sandy’s “golden ears,” Al Griffin wrote, “Something big is in the works.” He was clearly correct - as is evident from all the reviews and awards the GoldenEar products have received since their introduction. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING "My experience of listening with them paralleled previous encounters with noholds-barred speakersóones priced upwards of $50,000." AL GRIFFIN, SOUND & VISION MAGAZINE "A fantastic high-end audiophile loudspeaker - that just so happens not to cost a fortune." ANDREW ROBINSON - HOMETHEATREREVIEW.COM "Those who want to taste the magic of the GoldenEar Triton Two, S+V's 2010 Audio Product of the Year ... will be happy to hear about the new Aon 2 and 3." ABOUT ADA (AUDIO DESIGN ASSOCIATES) Audio Design Associates (or "ADA" and even "Audio Design" as our friends often call us) was founded by Albert G. Langella and Peter T. McKean in 1977. The company was born from a two-store TV/radio/repair-shop that Peter took over in the late 1960's called Hartsdale Radio & TV located in Westchester County, NY, a suburb north of Manhattan. Albert, who displayed natural talent at an early age when it came to electronics, worked for Peter repairing stuff while in high school and later as he studied for his Bachelors in Engineering at the Pratt Institute of Technology. By the mid-1970's, one of Peter's customer's was looking for a distributed audio system for his new home. Peter turned to Albert to build a custom system for this first client. Over the next few years, several more such customers came along forcing Langella to reconsider the custom "one-off" system designs he had provided to date. At this time, Albert began designing two first generation multi-room systems that offered flexible system design and that were also expandable to cover very large homes. Coinciding with Albert's graduation from college, he and Peter incorporated ADA in May of 1977. For the first ten years, ADA primarily manufactured its components and systems for installation by its own custom installation division. System 10 was ADA's first single-zone multi-room system and System 56 was ADA's first multi-source, multizone, multi-room system. As an aside, many of these first generation ADA systems are still completely functional and operational today, and several of these have been updated with today's digital technology lending credibility to our claim of obsolescent-free technology. While we garnered great press in the electronic magazines of the day, our business took on national and international opportunities when life-style and design publications began covering our installations. Because of exposes in premier publications like Town & Country, Vogue, GQ, and Interior Design (to name just a few), other Hi Fi retailers began to enquire as to how they could sell and install our systems for their own clients.

Peter's favorite line when it came to explaining ADA's growth as a manufacturer was summed up in the phrase: "necessity is the mother of invention." While Peter, the consummate salesman, presented the wonders of life-style electronics to the architectural and design communities, he turned to Albert, the inventor and engineer, to design better and more versatile systems. System 10 morphed into System 100 when CD players came out and then, into the Genesis System. System 56 morphed into System 8000 and System Omega, then into the Millennium family of systems, and today is represented by our Suite family of systems. One doesn't have to look too hard at any of today's technology, and not just ADA's, to find a root or origin that draws from one of ADA's first systems. Peter also understood the importance of education and community. ADA joined the EIA (Electronic Industries Association) in 1987 - the year he first took ADA to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). In 1989, ADA was among the first manufacturers to support a trade association devoted to custom installation. We are extremely proud to be a founding member of CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design & Installation Association). It is our philosophy that through dealer education and training, customers will benefit the most when it comes to a system installed by a professional, educated installation company. After all, this is an investment for your home. This is why ADA has been a staunch supporter of CEDIA's educational efforts, which aim to raise the standard of excellence for all members of our industry. Over the years, in addition to supporting its industry, ADA has also been the first to market with new and exciting technologies as well as the recipient of numerous awards and industry honors. In addition to developing the first multi-room audio systems, ADA was the world's first manufacturer to offer bi-directional, serially controlled components and systems that permit integration with control systems. We were also among the first to embrace home theater and THX standards.

Later, we were the first to ship Dolby Digital and DTS home theater technology. And today we are the first to offer XM and HD Radio for custom installation. For these innovative and technologically advanced designs, ADA has received dozens of CEA Design and Innovation Awards and CEDIA Product of the Year Awards. Albert Langella, our President, CEO and Chief Design Engineer, is the first recipient of CEDIA's highest honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his inventions and breakthroughs for the custom installation industry. And Richard Stoerger, our Vice President and COO, was recognized by the CEDIA community as the 2006 CEDIA Manufacturer Volunteer of the Year. Looking toward the future, ADA recognizes the pressure placed on the electronics' community to produce components and systems that are cheaper. Here we wish to caution those who blindly place price ahead of value when it comes to custom installation. Your home is both an investment and your most important instrument of life-style. You look to it as both a source of pride but also a place to dwell and live. As less expensive multi-room and home theater products make their way into the marketplace, beware of their overall value (lack thereof) as related to your "life-style." The questions we would ask are: "How is it built?", "How long will it last?" and "How will it sound?" We know that if the answers to all these questions are...."Well, it's an ADA," that you can put your mind to ease. Audio Design Associates, Inc proudly manufactures its components and systems in the United States of America. Thank you for choosing ADA.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING “In the end it was dynamic range that impressed me most. Articulation was never lost at low volumes and increased volumes maintained their civility with absolutely no sign of clipping or strain. Voices were articulate and well defined, and movie scores were musical.” HOMETHEATREHIFI.COM “The Suite 8200 is well built, easy to use and offers excellent sound quality. You wonít find the Suite 8200 on the receiver shelf next to other stereo or multichannel receivers at your local big-box retailer.” ABOUT.COM

LUXURY FOR ALL The Sunfire line represents nothing less than an audio renaissance. What has long been recognized as a stand out brand - now stands alone - with a range of products that are better in performance, luxury and style than anything that's come before them. In fact, with every new chapter of Sunfire, we take the word 'benchmark' and give it a whole new set of rules. What does that mean for you? We think it means the finest home entertainment product you can buy anywhere. Period. There’s a lot of you in every Sunfire product.

SUNFIRE TECHNOLOGY For many of you, the name Sunfire is synonymous with subwoofers - and for good reason. Bob Carver's innovative designs in the early 1990's are what created the small box, high power subwoofer category that you know and love. These concepts have become commonplace nowadays, but 10+ years ago it was a much different story. Equally as important to Sunfire's pedigree is Bob Carver's innovative approach to amplifier design. After founding Phase Linear and Carver with incredibly powerful amplifiers, he started a new chapter in the early 1990s with Sunfire and his Tracking Downconverter. This hallmark Sunfire technology is at the heart and soul of every amplifier and subwoofer that we make. The result are products that when experienced first-hand will move you - literally, if that's what you're in to.

OWNING THE BEST IS NEVER AN EXTRAVAGANCE High performance from the smallest possible form factor. That’s not merely a product definition; it’s the philosophy behind every Sunfire subwoofer ever made. Now, with the HRS Series, Sunfire takes this philosophy to a whole new dimension of performance and value. Consider the most obvious case in point - the HRS-8. The HRS-8 is a perfect fit for tight locations and small rooms. But don’t ever let its diminutive 8” profile fool you – the HRS-8 is a beautifully disguised, small bundle of dynamite that’s capable of filling your room with more deep, punchy bass than you ever thought possible! In fact, the output is equal to most subwoofers boasting drivers more than 20% larger. The HRS-8 sets an entirely new set of rules for how subwoofers in this price segment should perform.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING “The little subwoofer that could.” ABOUT.COM “The fact is, if space is tight and your room is not too large and your other speakers are competent down to 100Hz get yourself a Sunfire HRS-8 subwoofer. It will do everything you could ask of it.” AV HUB “... an excellent choice for anyone looking for depth, clarity, and good high SPL performance at a more reasonable size or price.” AUDIOHOLICS
