THE PANSY PATCH
OCTOBER RECAP We kicked off the month with initiation! It was such a special day to officially welcome our new members into our sisterhood. We are so excited for them to see what Theta holds for them over the next few years. Homecoming week quickly followed where we all had an amazing time supporting our sister’s Homecoming Queen campaign. The week ended with us bringing back the best tradition, and we will do our part to make sure Dixieland Delight remains in Bryant-Denny for years to come. We also celebrated Halloween all month long with Halloween movie nights every Monday featuring the classics like Hocus Pocus and all the Halloweentown movies. The month ended with a pumpkin patch sisterhood event, and our sisters going on fall break. We had another an amazing month for our chapter!

KAPPA ALPHA THETA
homecoming week 2018
At the beginning of October, we celebrated Alabama’s homecoming! This year for our pomp we supported the Tuscaloosa SAFE Center, a place that offers support and resources to those affected by sexual assault. Our lawn decoration also reflected Baylee Clark’s platform for homecoming queen. We loved being able to support our sister but also a cause near to our hearts and a resource that will be valuable to the Tuscaloosa area. We also loved being able to support our sisters in all the athletic events and dance competition throughout the week which ended with the annual homecoming parade!

fall break
At the end of the month, our members got to spend a couple extra days away from school on fall break. It was a great chance to relax after midterms and before the end of the semester. A lot of our sisters spent their break all over the country with each other exploring new cities or showing each other their hometowns.
